Trump Legal Team Folds | Elections excerpt: "Late last night, Congress accepted Georgia’s slate of electors without objection, as no Senator joined in Congressman Jody Hice’s objection to Georgia’s electors."
That would have been Sen. Loeffler who had planned to object along with Rep. Hice (both a senator and House member are needed to object for a particular state). She changed her mind and decided to not object to Biden's certification in the wake of Trump's riot at the Capitol. Trump helped short-circuit his own cause.
Trump Legal Team Folds | Elections excerpt: "Georgia is recognized as a national leader in elections. It was the first state in the country to implement the trifecta of automatic voter registration, at least 16 days of early voting (which has been called the “gold standard”), and no-excuse absentee voting. Georgia continues to set records for voter turnout and election participation, seeing the largest increase in average turnout of any other state in the 2018 midterm election and record turnout in 2020, with over 1.3 million absentee by mail voters and over 3.6 million in-person voters utilizing Georgia’s new, secure, paper ballot voting system."
A Trump supporting lawyer from Wisconsin and four other guys, including a homeless guy, have been caught using a UPS mail box as an address to vote, which is illegal in Wisconsin. So, again the electoral fraud has been committed by Trump supporters. The funny thing is the lawyer involved here had given speech and made other statements concerning voter fraud. What a bunch of hypocrites!
Evans had just been elected a delegate of Virginia in 2020. He threw his job away to partake in Trump's riot. MAGA-rioting ex-lawmaker slapped with new indictment even as he nears plea agreement excerpt: "On Thursday, CBS News' Scott MacFarlane reported that federal prosecutors have issued a superseding indictment against former West Virginia Delegate Derrick Evans for his involvement in the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The indictment, which charges Evans with civil disorder, comes just a week after reports indicated that Evans was nearing a plea agreement with federal prosecutors for his existing charges for unlawful entry."
Evans' grandmother apparently was being sarcastic when she thanked Trump for starting a riot. She sounded frustrated that her grandson was arrested. The following was about comments she made to a reporter who was at their property as Evans was being taken away in handcuffs. GOP lawmakers' grandmother slams Trump for starting a 'riot' as her grandson is taken into custody excerpt: "Anything you want to say on [Evans'] behalf?" WSAZ reporter Chad Hedrick asks. "He's a fine man," the woman says. "And thank you, Mr. Trump, for invoking a riot at the White House."
Trump backer, 4 others charged with voter fraud in Wisconsin excerpt: "MADISON, Wis. -- A supporter of former President Donald Trump who said authorities should root out voter fraud is among five people who were charged Thursday with election fraud by a Republican district attorney who's running for Wisconsin attorney general. All five voters, including a homeless person, improperly listed a post office box number at a UPS store as their address, rather than a residential address as is required under Wisconsin law, said Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney. That brings the number of people charged with election fraud during the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin to 10, including seven in Fond du Lac County. Three of the five people charged cast ballots in the 2020 election."
Mike Lindell fumes over arrest of Tina Peters -- and vows those who arrested her 'are going to prison' excerpt: “Peters did nothing but be a patriot and make a copy of a corrupt thing,” Lindell said. “As the county clerk, she made a copy. She was supposed to do it. By the way, did you know other clerks in Colorado did that too? Same thing! And we have– it’s not just her. All of them did their job! (Colorado Secretary of State Jena) Griswold is trying to cover up the biggest crime in the United States history. [Law enforcement] is just going there [executing search warrants] to scare people into fear — not to speak out about Dominion, not to speak out about the election crimes that happened. Because in Colorado, they deleted the whole 2020 election! And guess what? We have what they deleted! They’re all going to prison, period. And Jena Griswold is number one on the list.”
I can't quite figure out why a crack head pillow salesman ended up as consultant to the white house, well, except he had money.
Because they never had ANY proof or evidence. It was just more bullshit from a master bullshitter. When T**** paints himself into a corner, he digs an escape hole through the wall - and blames the paint, the shape of the room, the builder, the next-door neighbor, the hardware store that sold him the paint (enablers, cling-ons & coat-tailers ......... once they stand naked in the "daylight" of legal scrutiny and consequences). When the severe stare of THE LAW is on them - they fold like a house of cards. Turn tail & run for the door.
I think Lindell is huffing some FUMES. Batshit crazy and ........ the chickens are coming home to roost.
T**** didn't hire / appoint / nominate qualified persons .......... T**** surrounded himself with "yes" people - SPINELESS LEMMINGS with no integrity. The only "quality"(?) they possessed is they have great "oral talents" and have no objections to taking turns under T****'s desk.
Navarro subpoenaed by Jan. 6 committee. U.S. Capitol riot probe hits Trump trade adviser Navarro with subpoena
It required eight months for the National Archives to partially resolve the current issue involving 15 boxes of documents Trump took to Mar-a-Lago. Archives threatened to go to Congress and Justice Department to get Trump to turn over records - CNNPolitics excerpt: "In May 2021, the realization that important items from Trump's time in office -- including some of his correspondence with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and infamous Sharpie-altered map of Hurricane Dorian -- were not transferred to the Archives at the end of his presidency prompted NARA officials to contact Trump's team. Longtime Archives lawyer Gary Stern first reached out to a person from the White House counsel's office who had been designated as the President Records Act point of contact about the record-keeping issue, hoping to locate the missing items and initiate their swift transfer back to NARA, said multiple sources familiar with the matter. The person had served as one of Trump's impeachment defense attorneys months earlier and, as deputy counsel, was among the White House officials typically involved in ensuring records were properly preserved during the transfer of power and Trump's departure from office. But after an extended back and forth over several months and after multiple steps taken by Trump's team to resolve the issue, Stern sought the intervention of another Trump attorney last fall as his frustration mounted over the pace of the document turnover. A spokesperson for Trump did not return a request for comment. In a statement on Thursday, Trump claimed the boxes that had been brought to Mar-a-Lago "contained letters, records, newspapers, magazines and various articles" that are to be featured in his presidential library "someday." "The papers were given easily and without conflict and on a very friendly basis," he said. One source familiar with the situation says the document turnover has "not been fully resolved" and says Trump is still in possession of documents the Archives wants. The Archives hinted at this in a statement earlier this week. "Former President Trump's representatives have informed NARA that they are continuing to search for additional Presidential records that belong to the National Archives," the Archives said in a statement."
