I would have to believe that 80% of these things went to people that earned and really needed it - what were people supposed to do - their jobs were gone through no fault of their own, no health care, no child care, pandemic raging out of control - everyday working folks were and are really hurting. Still a small sum compared to the Trump sweeping tax cuts given to the upper crust financed by his huge deficit and debt....that nobody mentions....that we are paying for now. Shit, our small company almost got forced out of business with the sharp downturn and trust me, that pittance we would normally get from unemployment wouldn't put a dent in my budget. It's particularly insulting and confounding when you can't help deserving taxpayers out when you have a $4B GOP controlled surplus sitting in the state's coffers.

People can afford to be quite 'conservative' in their views when they have a Cadilac health and retirement plan and are not the ones that don't have job or have sick kids with no health plan.

 

Considering the source of that article, it's highly likely that the author is just lying about the results of the survey.

Just imagine, Dropping off a dirty laptop to a repairman you don't even know?

With all of the supposed connections the man had, you would think that he had an IT connection?

With all the dirt and scandal on that laptop, you would think that the invoice should be paid properly and the device retrived, no ?

He should be eternally grateful that dishonest instituions laid down cover fire and useful idiots swallowed the story.

It also helped that The Orange one was in office and an opposition emotional tsumani washed over the evidence on the laptop

It’s true- he cannot remain in power, he cannot be trusted, and he’s clearly shown his hand and his intentions. WTF else does the world need to be convinced?
