Ginni Thomas is enveloped in truther world.

The conspiracy-theory-peddling media personalities in the Ginni Thomas texts

    excerpts:

"Nov. 10: "Mark, I wanted to text you and tell you for days you are in my prayers!!," Thomas wrote. She continued by urging Meadows to "Help This Great President stand firm" and invoked "the greatest Heist of our History." She went on to advise Meadows to "Listen to Rush [Limbaugh]. Mark Steyn, [Dan] Bongino [and] Cleta [Mitchell],"

"Mark Steyn is an author and conservative pundit who appears frequently on Tucker Carlson's Fox News program, and has guest-hosted both Carlson's and Rush Limbaugh's programs. "America has the least clean elections in the western world," Steyn said in a TV appearance days after the election, " . . . and in this case, in a handful of hardcore, Democrat cities that have run corrupt elections, in some cases, since the end of the Civil War."

Steyn opened his radio show on Nov. 6, 2020, with a musical refrain: "There's a coup coming on." He proceeded to cite a patchwork of misleading local news stories as evidence of the "coup," including people being removed from an overcrowded vote counting site in Detroit, and a U.S. postal worker detained at the Canadian border with what turned out to be three absentee ballots. An article on his website promoting the episode echoes Thomas's language, referring to "the world's greatest electoral heist of the democratic era."

Dan Bongino is one of the biggest stars in conservative talk radio, as well as a podcast host and the proprietor of an eponymous website, Bongino.com. He also appears regularly on Fox News. In the wake of the election, Bongino wrote dozens of Facebook posts and aired hours of podcasts discussing "anomalies" in the election results, according to Politico. He said on one podcast that he's "never been more fired up" in his life. "You wanted us to quit? How about you go [bleep] yourself, I'm not going anywhere."

Cleta Mitchell, a lawyer and backer of Trump's election fraud claims, was interviewed a couple days after the election by Fox host Maria Bartiromo. She accused "the Democratic Party apparatus and its massive left-wing allied network" of undermining voting laws so they could "send ballots to people whether they were alive or dead."

Mitchell resigned from her law firm the following January, after The Washington Post revealed her involvement in Trump's efforts to overturn valid election results."

Even Tucker Carlson gave up on Sidney Powell.

The conspiracy-theory-peddling media personalities in the Ginni Thomas texts

    excerpt:

"Nov. 13: Thomas told Meadows of her support for Trump election lawyer Sidney Powell, who was appearing regularly on cable-news segments spinning wild theories about electronic voting systems switching millions of ballots in Biden's favor. Powell had also claimed, without evidence, that Venezuela, Cuba and possibly China were behind efforts to swing the election to Biden. Powell was eventually dismissed by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who told viewers that she had shown no evidence to support her assertions. "She never sent us any evidence despite a lot of requests, polite requests, not a page," Carlson said on Nov. 19. "When we kept pressing she got angry and told us to stop contacting her.""

Lindell hasn't said much about his supposed class action style lawsuit comprised of complaints by various AG in states Trump lost in 2020 to be submitted to the Supreme Court to have the election overturned..

    He blames the RNC.

Mike Lindell Blames a Vast GOP Conspiracy for His Supreme Court Failure

    excerpt:

"With a poor WiFi connection marring his live-streamed rant, Lindell blasted McDaniel, alleging she orchestrated a vast Republican conspiracy against him when she finally acknowledged late last week that President Joe Biden won the 2020 election.

“How dare the RNC try and stop this case from getting to the Supreme Court. Shame on you, RNC! You are worse than Fox [News] now!” he stated, referencing his claims that the cable giant has silenced him. “You can’t tell me why Ronna McDaniel, the head of the RNC, made a statement saying Biden won three days before this Supreme Court complaint was supposed to go to the Supreme Court.”

“What about the timing of that, America!” he continued. “Why would she say that at that moment in time? She didn't have to say that. What, is she trying to get more donor money? Is she trying to get donor money from Democrats? She is as RINO as they come!” McDaniel did not immediately respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment."

Idaho had its fill of Lindell and his wild goose chase.

    https://www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/community/boise/article257505684.html

    excerpt:

"Three months after a state investigation disproved MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s accusations of voter fraud in Idaho, the information remains on Lindell’s website. Idaho government officials want it gone.

They also want Lindell to pay the state for the money it spent proving Lindell’s allegations wrong.

Secretary of State Lawerence Denney and Attorney General Lawrence Wasden sent a cease-and-desist letter to Lindell on Tuesday. They asked Lindell to “promptly remove all false statements about Idaho’s elections from your website” and “refrain from making similar statements in the future.”

“Despite knowing your statements about Idaho’s elections are false, you have not removed your ‘Big Lie’ chart and continue to perpetuate your false statements,” the letter stated.

Idaho is also coming for Lindell’s wallet. The letter requested he send $6,558.83 to the secretary of state’s office to cover the money it spent refuting his claims. The office first announced plans to seek payment in October.

The Idaho Statesman reached out to Lindell by email but received no response as of Wednesday evening."

Consider that the function of the Supreme Court justices "is to remain the final arbiters of the law, charged with ensuring the American people receive the promise of equal justice under the law. The court acts as the protector and interpreter of the Constitution." (re: American Bar Association)

In other words, an individual justices' personal opinion of abortion (or any other issue before them) shouldn't affect their ultimate ruling. In the past, this has been observed pretty well by the Court; witness that efforts to reverse Roe vs. Wade have been unsuccessful even though conservative justices might be personally against the law. They've been protecting the Constitution and the people, not ramming their personal feelings down our throats.

Now, the Court seems to be operating under a different set of standards. Two-thirds of them are avowed conservatives......and it seems to show up in their decisions.

I've never heard of what Ginni Thomas thinks about abortion.......but would you care to take a guess?

Trump has endorsed DePerno in Michigan.

Attorney general contest tests Trump’s power over Michigan Republicans

    excerpts:

"Trump’s endorsement of DePerno came early, before Leonard or Berman announced their candidacies. DePerno relentlessly promoted false claims about the 2020 election, alleging that Michigan was stolen through various means that have not been proven. It started in Antrim County, where DePerno argued a well-explained and quickly fixed error actually pointed to a larger nationwide conspiracy."

"DePerno was the defense attorney for former state Rep. Todd Courser, who resigned in 2015 after using taxpayer resources to hide an affair with another lawmaker. Courser later pleaded no contest to willful neglect of duty by a public officer.

DePerno later filed a federal lawsuit against the Michigan House of Representatives and various lawmakers, then-Attorney General Bill Schuette, the Detroit News, Michigan State Police and others alleging a conspiracy to remove Courser from office. The lawsuit was dismissed. A federal judge deemed the claim “absurd on its face.”"

DePerno could allege that the federal judge who ruled against him was part of the conspiracy.

Trump attacked Ketanji Brown Jackson for being 'disrespectful' to GOP senators who 'nicely' asked questions at Supreme Court confirmation hearings

    excerpt:

"Speaking at a rally in Commerce, Georgia, on Saturday, Trump claimed that President Joe Biden's first Supreme Court nominee responded to GOP lawmakers with "disdain" and "hatred" during four tense days of questioning.

"Judge Jackson was unbelievably disrespectful to Republican Senators that in many cases were really nicely asking questions," Trump said. "She had total disdain and even hatred for them.""

Donald Trump just can't stop praising Vladimir Putin - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"It now seems pretty clear that Trump meant what he initially said about Putin. Because between then and now Putin has carried out a relentless and deadly attack across Ukraine. And over that same period of time, prominent Republicans have scrambled to distance themselves from Trump’s Putin praise, even scolding the former President for saying what he said.

And yet, through it all, Trump has stuck, basically, to his original line – that Putin is a savvy player on the world stage who is always one step ahead of the United States.

Don’t overthink it: Trump keeps saying it because he believes it.

We saw time and again during his presidency that Trump is attracted to the strength and unapologetic nature of authoritarian rulers like Putin. (Here are 15 times Trump praised authoritarian leaders.) From crackdowns against the press to demands of total fealty from everyone serving in his government, Trump seemed at times like he was trying to model his four years in office on the way that authoritarian rulers from Russia to Turkey to China behaved."

People’s Convoy Gives Up, Will Leave D.C. After 3 Weeks of Doing Absolutely Nothing

    excerpt:

"Over the past three weeks, the convoy has struggled to gain traction with lawmakers in Washington. The group met only with Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, and a handful of House Republicans while never brokering a meeting with a single Democratic lawmaker despite attempts to do so.

From claiming that average D.C. residents who flipped off truckers during their never-ending Beltway loops were agents of “antifa,” to being hilariously trolled by a single bicyclist and eventually getting a permit swatted down by the U.S. Park Service, the convoy kept stepping on rakes."

I told y’all awhile back that he would slowly but surely whither away. He’s losing relevance, doubling down and sticking to that bullshit narrative that the election was stolen from him. People are sick of hearing that bullshit.

Federal Judge Finds Trump Likely Committed Crimes Over 2020 Election

    excerpt:

"Many of the documents the committee will now receive relate to a legal strategy proposed by Mr. Eastman to pressure Vice President Mike Pence not to certify electors from several key swing states when Congress convened on Jan. 6, 2021. “The true animating force behind these emails was advancing a political strategy: to persuade Vice President Pence to take unilateral action on January 6,” Judge Carter wrote.

Mr. Eastman had filed suit against the panel, trying to persuade a judge to block the committee’s subpoena for documents in his possession. As part of the suit, Mr. Eastman sought to shield from release documents he said were covered by attorney-client privilege.

In response, the committee argued — under the legal theory known as the crime-fraud exception — that the privilege did not cover information conveyed from a client to a lawyer if it was part of furthering or concealing a crime.

The panel said its investigators had accumulated evidence demonstrating that Mr. Trump, Mr. Eastman and other allies could potentially be charged with criminal violations including obstructing an official proceeding of Congress and conspiracy to defraud the American people.

On Monday, Judge Carter, who was nominated by President Bill Clinton, agreed, writing that he believed it was “likely” that the men not only conspired to defraud the United States but “dishonestly conspired to obstruct the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021.”

“President Trump and Dr. Eastman justified the plan with allegations of election fraud,” he wrote, “but President Trump likely knew the justification was baseless, and therefore that the entire plan was unlawful.”"
