Yeah, I rarely get messed up lately, maybe a bit of alcohol now and then, but not much and that's about it. I have much more fun being sober.
thirty plus years of hard core drinking under my belt. time of my life. i do miss it. five months now, not a drop. these days me and the boys (8 and 10) get together on the weekends and pound back a litre of homemade whatcamacallit. 2 bananas, tsp sugar, 4 eggs, sqirt of vanilla extract and strawberry syrup all blended with milk. yummy
Drinking is fun, but I could go indefinitely without it. Really, if I can not go indefinitely without somehting, then I will refrain entirely. Well, excepting certain things, such as bodily functions.
stoberness is alright to have as an anchor, but a a boat should be on the water, above the seabed where the anchor is, apon a sea of green!
there was a time when i couldnt stand being sober.....now I'm finding things much easier being sober.
I drank and drugged for 15 years. In March I'll have 19 years clean and sober. I wouldn't trade the worst day sober for the best day drunk for all the money in the world. I love sobriety!
I really like getting tipsy from time to time, but not out-and-out drunk very often. Like, maybe... four times a year is how often I get truly drunk. It doesn't take very much for me to get tipsy or drunk either. I do like laughing at drunk people though. They make complete asses of themselves, -especially- when dancing. Unfortunately, drunk guys do tend to be very grabby at the bar.
