Over the night it seems that my PC has caught a virus called Bloodhound.W32.EP and it's disabled my ability to sign into MSN Messenger. I don't suppose any of you guys has a file or program to cure it?
Try downloading Avast! Antivirus http://www.avast.com/ And start using Trillian By the way, either I've got the same virus or there's been a massive coincidence. While I was reading this post, I was trying to sign into MSN. Didn't work. Just tried Trillian too, and that couldn't connect to MSN either. Bugger. (Edit) Ahh, hang on. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/bloodhound.w32.3.html From the sounds of it, the virus you have is Norton virus protection's default term for a virus it can't identify. Personally, I'd remedy the situation by uninstalling Norton, but that's just because I hate Norton. Long story. I recommend you follow the advice in the link
Re-read my post...I edited it to add some information I found out about Norton. If you use Norton or another Symantec virus scanner, the information you need will be there
