not true. if it is then why dont other organisms develop cancer, or are totally wiped out through cancers? eventually if that was true and ppl COULD live long with the only threat being cancer, eventually they would evolve past it and develop an immunity

 

Other Organisms can and DO develop cancer, but most live much shorter lives than humans, and usually don't go running around smoking cigarettes and launching nukes hence why it seems so rare.

Cancer isn't like a normal illness, it isn't contracted via a bacteria or virus. It's a mutation of defective cells. Therefore we couldn't develop an immunity as our own bodies are creating the cells and those cells would evolve right along with us.

 

it is true. phone ur dr and ask him... go dr. if i were to stay healthy and not die cuz my heart gave out or was hit by a bus. would i get cancer.. hed prolly say yes. we had a lecter on it in my anatomy class at school. every one has cancer cells in them its just weather they develop.

right now, youve probably got hundreds of thousands of cancers. but most cancers die before they can develop into tumours.

a cancer is simply a cell that doesnt work 100% how it should. often this is negligable, for its just one cell amongst many, and most cells dont stay alive for that long.

each cell is programmed to self destruct if they become in certain ways cancerous, or to kill cancerous cells around them that signal danger. also ever cell also is given a finite numer of times it is allowed to reproduce, and if there is too much of one cell in an area, the cells around it will signal for it to kill itself

various radioactive chemicals, and cigarettes (though i read somehwhere they now believe cancer is caused by radioactive chemicals added to cigaretes) can disrupt all this, not only causing more cancers, but causing cancers that do not listen to this signal to kill themselves.

and so, 'cancers' in the conventional form occur when cells loose the signal to stop multiplying and so they just keep growing, and spreading.

benign cancers are just sorta a group of cells that keeps growing. like a lump of flesh, but unlike most of the flesh in teh body, its made up of only one type of cell. these can generally jsut be cut out.

malignant cancers spread throughout the body and just grow everywhere, in effect, killing you by filling your body up with useless, constantly developing groups of cells.

lasers are often used to kill the cancers, or to directly disrupt their growth pattern.

so its more a fact that most cancers are not a problem but if you lived long enough, youd eventually get a cancer that goes out of control and kills you. or numerous ones.

 

Good info bill. Yeah a cancer cell is a cell that has mutated and no longer has a functioning genetic command to stop the grow/divide cycle, as a normal cell would. All cancer cells are mutated cells, but not all mutated cells are cancer. Most cells, when they mutate, they die pretty quick because they don't work right, or your immune system gets it (that's important, because most americans have weak immune systems from poor diet and a toxic envrionment). Once in a while the cells won't be killed/die, and keep reproducing. Then it is called cancer.

Cancer wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have such poor immune systems. Our diets are terrible, even in America, laden with perservatives, additives, etc. Natural organic food would be far better and much more nutritious than processed food (even the "enriched" ones...think about it, why take all the nutrients out, then put them back in? Why??? Plus, they only put in a percentage of what they took out). Then think of all the poisons we live with, cigarettes, carpet fumes, exhaust, pharmaceuticals, etc. Also, stress reduction would help. Science likes to deny the mind body connection, but we stress and overthink and it leads to poor health. You don't see animals getting sick like we humans do, except our domestic animals (most of which would probably be considered neurotic if they were tested...think of how people baby their dogs. That's not right on their minds, they NEED discipline, not to be treated like babies). I'd say it's because they aren't prepetually stressed. Yeah, they have to run when they're chased, but when the chase is over, they let it go and get back to living. We humans would think about it for days...

Bob Marley died not because his toenail was removed because of an INJURY he sustained underneath it that got infected, but because he had either brain cancer or lukemia(blood cancer i think?) and refused chemo for a long time until it got really bad then he went to chemo but it was too late.

 

he was playing socer and hurt his foot and did not go to the doctor it got worse and worse and some how turn in to cancer . so do some fucking research befor posting next time !!!!
