I have a female cat about 1 year old named Ninjalicious that I
need to find another home for. Ninja has a problem with thinking that
carpet is an acceptable litterbox (thankfully she does not use
clothing for this purpose). Unfortunately this has cost me several
hundred dollars in deposits and has probably already cost me another
$450 for my current place. I simply cannot afford this anymore.(I have
already taken her to the vet for this problem and tried several
different techniques to curb this issue, and she will not learn.)
Ninja is an adorable cat, extremely affectionate & gentle, healthy.
She has been an indoor cat since I moved to Wichita, but before that
spent a considerable amount of time outside as well (sleeping indoors,
daytimes outdoors). The ideal home for her would be indoors with hard
floors, and a lap to sit on. She will do fine as an outdoor cat as
long as she is provided with a warm place to sleep. She has been
spayed (possibly to early, hence the litterbox issue) and will be
taken to the vet before adoption to get her next round of shots.
Anyone who is interested or has further questions please contact me by
email (akbal.dreamer@gmail.com) ASAP. If a home is not found for Ninja within 2 weeks I will have to turn her over to the no-kill shelter. Links below
are to pictures. Please pass this on to anyone outside of the community who may be interested, as I really do not want to have to give her to a shelter. I am able to drive to any of the states surrounding Kansas to give Ninja to a loving guardian. Thanks.

if you give her away she will just continue this bad behaviour at a new home and she will be passed along like some common cold, from home to home till she is put in the spca, and then put down.. is she spayed? what breed is she? where did you get her? have you always had her since she was a kitten? what do you do when you find she has messed on the carpet??

Have you tried leaving a window cracked or filling her box with shredded newspaper instead... And as crazy as this sounds, dribbling a little pee in it? It might do the trick if she can't go outside.

Um, thanks for the advice. Ninja is actually the 7th cat I have owned through the years. One of two now. I assure you I have tried everything. She is spayed, she has no medical problems. There are three litterboxes in the house and they are scooped everyday, cleaned every 3. I have tried different types of litters, as well as every behavioral modification technique in the book. She knows how to use the box, and does quite often. Its the 10% she decides not to use one of the boxes that is killing me. She gets plenty of love and attention, as I currently work from home. She's on my lap alot and I play with her everyday. The only thing the vet can come up with was that perhaps she was spayed too early. I have never had a cat with this problem. I have had her since shortly after she was weened, she is a mixed breed (her mother was a stray kitten, and her sire unknown), and as far as I can tell has been doing this since shortly after i got her. My first thought was stress from the other cat, but they get along really well, and have from the first, so i don't think that is the problem.

I have since found a home for her, a young man looking for a grown cat to adopt. He has a reasonable sized home with hardwood floors and no other pets, as well as an income that will allow him to keep her shots and checkups in order. He is thrilled at the prospect of adopting her so i am optimistic that this will work out.
