I'll add some more of mine.

    Beautiful: aggripatura, symmetry, reflex, umblici.
Ugly: gumbo, unguent, augur, column, big (stupid but true), numb.

Weirdly, I can only think of ugly words when trying to come up with pretty ones, and vice versa.

A really beautiful word, when used in the right sentence,is contour. Or anything curvy..

    *girlish sigh,followed by manly grunt*

    A horrible word is frigid.

It seems I don't like G's. There are some proper nouns that I love: Point Defiance, Celtic, Alaska, Virgin Islands, Picasso, Everest, Denali, Na Pali Coast, and Tacoma, but that's a bit off-topic. I study and prctice numerology, so I'm more likely to have a fondness for words with K or V in them. I don't know why I don't like G, this is the first time I've ever thought about it. Perhaps because it is the 7th letter, and 7 suggests loneliness. Thanks, I have something to ponder (ooh, that's a good one) for the rest of the day.

well maybe they sound diff in a British accent but I gotta tell ya bloke, those aggripature and umblici are unpronounceable in American english. I'd say all the other words are beautiful. You have of course made a mistake in trying to think of "beautiful and ugly" words. It was sposed to be "beautiful and harsh"

I think only the first stumbling block of a noun (?), aggripature, is the harshest word I've ever seen. Might sound nice in Italian.

BUT doesn't everything sound nice in Italian?????? Isn't it true/? FRENCH, too!
