Okay so at the booksstore ( i work in an antique/used bookstore).. i opened a book (religous book) and a picture of a young man dead in a coffin fell out... I didnt think people ever took a camera to a wake... has anyone ever seen someone at a wake taking pictures...
that's kind of creepy, i'd rather remember someone the way they were when they were vibrant and alive.
Was it a very old picture? Back in the early 1900's they would take pictures or get drawings done of their loved ones after they passed away. I found some in my house when I bought it. They are kind of creepy, but also beautiful in a strange way. They look so peaceful. Sometimes they were already in coffins, but usually they were posed. Sometimes with the remaining family members. Strange...
Ive scene those pictures.. whe have alot of family historys in the store.. that have pictures like that.. but this was on a poloroid from the 80's
you should put it up on one of those websites of found photos ( like this one: http://www.moderna.org/lookatme/ ) it would be the creepiest one
