@Pearl Kitty Congrats on the catch! Trout is one of my favorite fish. But I hadn't eaten it in a while.

 

What part of the world you catching trout in?

 

Finally got a trip down to the Copper River yesterday for my yearly Salmon harvest.

 

Thank you! It’s a seasonal catch, so it’s great!

Most most trophy fish was probably a 15.5" 1 lb 12 oz black crappie. Ive also caught a 25ish lb spoonbill aka american paddlefish and a 10 lb 6 oz channel catfish.

 

Went down to the river today. Caught a couple of fish on my fly rod.

 

Happy to see the Passaic has nice smallmouth. Is this downstream from the Dundee Dam?

 

This was in Somerset County.

I fail to see the point of fishing if, having caught a decent sized one, you then throw it back again. Rainbow trout is a beautiful fish and tastes fabulous if grilled in red wine sauce !!!
