Jones is like Trump with his conspiracies and failures. Jones referred to the $4.1 million judgment for the parents as a success for himself. He'll probably refer to the extra $45.2 million punitive against him as a ten times bigger success for himself. Like Jones' bankruptcy filings, Trump filed for bankruptcy for his casinos and said he was a success because he exited the market before the other casinos supposedly lost even more than he did (they didn't and their casinos survived after Trump's didn't) Similarly, Trump said he won the 2020 election by an even bigger margin than in 2016. .

Trump is still pursuing his suit against Hillary Clinton and a slew of other people he doesn't like. That one is failing in the court. Portions of the suit against particular people have been dismissed by the court. Trump is also being hampered by statute of limitations which he thinks doesn't apply to him because he was too busy golfing during his presidency to file the suit at that time.
Bannon has been calling for another insurrection with 4,000 shock troops from MAGA world. The number of Trump's people arrested for the 2021 insurrection is approaching 1,000. Trump has done little to financially help them with their legal woes. Instead, he is asking them for more money to sue people he doesn't like for alleged transgressions against him in 2016. Lindell is doing another gathering in 2022 like he did in the summer of 2021. He will once again supposedly reveal the kraken and show that Trump won in 2020 (while asking his fans to buy $49 slippers through what little remains of TV and other outlets that haven't yet dumped him).
Orban was the opening speaker at the CPAC gathering in Dallas. Viktor Orbán turns Texas conference into transatlantic far-right love-in excerpt: “The globalists can all go to hell,” declared Viktor Orbán. “I have come to Texas!” The crowd roared, whooped and gave a standing ovation as if at a campaign rally for former US president Donald Trump. It was evident they saw in Orbán a kindred spirit – a blunt weapon to wield against liberal foes. The Hungarian prime minister was the opening speaker at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, and perhaps the most vivid demonstration yet of the mutual and rapidly growing affinity between the far right in America and Europe. Orbán, who has been prime minister for 12 years, boasted about his hardline stance on illegal immigration, law and order and “gender ideology” in schools. He touted a rise in marriages and fall in abortions. He was unapologetic in his defence of blood-and-soil nationalism and contempt for “leftist media”.

As always, it's almost painful to consider the irony of middle-class folks that work hard to simply maintain their standard of living being urged to donate money to a self-professed multi-billionaire to launch a lawsuit. After all, if regular folks wanted to sue someone, they'd have to pay the legal expenses themselves, right? Sure, the rich Trump-ite can send in whatever amount he/she wants and not be hurt by it.......but the middle-class consumer who complains that he has to buy a tub of margarine for his family because he can't afford butter is tickled pink to ship funds to Trump. Still, the true irony arises when one considers the regular guy's total willingness to send in a check to Trump. And, after all, if he finds his loyal supporters anxious to fund his legal actions, there's no reason he shouldn't keep asking for donations, is there?

TV evangelist Robert Tilton of Texas tells his followers to send him money that they can't afford as a show of faith in God. He has people who donated on his show (usually late middle-age women) saying that they were blessed with miraculous events after they made their donations, such as winning the lottery.
"Daunting demands of his presidency" Including 310 rounds of golf. That's sometimes two rounds a week. Doesn't he look like a well dress regal billionaire ex president??
Trump is similar. Trump's angle is that his followers will be blessed with the satisfaction of (in their perception) winning a petty culture war, even if it means losing their livelihood (such as their farms that Trump said he would make prosper for the left-behinders), losing their freedom (being sent to prison for years for rioting on his behalf), or their own lives (like Ashli Babbitt and others for violently promoting his twisted election lies).
Trump was probably golfing significantly more than records indicate. He did many events at his properties that weren't open to a press pool.
