There are quite a few musicians here at HF. I wonder if we could start a virtual acoustic song circle where people post recordings of themselves playing and singing either originals or covers. I used to go to a song circle a few times a month before the pandemic, and I miss that.

We'd often work out of the songbook Rise Up Singing

so people could play and sing along. Or we could do a Grateful Dead song circle. Just quickie, not elaborately produced songs... no electric or electronic instruments.

Or we could do it live via Zoom!

I don't play acoustic... I also don't sing.

 

I own an acoustic......
But I’ve not picked it up in a while.

I sing my heart out at work.....
But so do most people.....
I don’t have any fans so i guess I’m not much good!

My theory is totally lacking too but it’d be fun for shits and giggles.

 

I can get my air guitar warmed up, anytime you want me to, you name I will play it as if magic.

 

Every band has an air guitarist!
You’re in!

 

All abilities are welcome. I can't sing worth a damn, but that doesn't mean I don't do it anyway.

Or the wailing banshee

Singing and playing is a skill I don’t have!
A or B and I wouldn’t say gifted.

I think it could work if neon turned up and we sat quietly......
