Aside from all the drug talk, why do you think things are going down the tubes unless you felt things were bad and see the same in others.
no its not sad. Im getting A's and B's, play softball, and im gettin a job over the summer. I smoke too much, but im responsible about it. and im going to college, so there.
great, so everyone is jolly as santas balls but here we are on a thread about shit going down the tubes. one fool thinks drugs is at fault and everyone one else has their thumb in their bum
madcrappie - I certainly respect your posts, but man, have you ever heard of to each their own? Sometimes you act like your way is the only way people should be living. I put my time in at the office running a business that is responsible for the livelihood of 25 others. I'm a normal productive human being. Yet, most nights when I get home I care for a few glasses of wine, a few nights a week I might have a little smoke and then maybe I'm good for having 2 blow out nights a month out seeing live music. I hardly see how my behavior is in the least responsible in any way for america "goin' down the tubes"
actually, i do agree that the addictions are a consequence of the sadness of the world... hunger, broken homes, bullies, money, cliques, the myth that you have to be "perfect" to be pretty, ETC. however, i think he's (madcrappie) talking about addiction. which isnt the answer but no one i know EVER tried to get addicted. it's sad indeed but i dont think that's why america (us) or the WORLD is fucked. maybe a consequence... a shitty one... because some people like to rebel but when youre a rebel without a cause... the only casualty usually is yourself. not cool.
Works well for those in power though... Everyone does does this or that, because it makes them 'feel good'.. But it's transient.. Eventually you'll realize you sat back and did nothing as life passes you by... Spend your life distracted... Wow, I must be in a bad mood, didn't notice until I wrote that.
