Some kid asked me if I was a hobo on my way home from the bus stop after school today!!lmao! I was wearing my 70's-style summer dress, bellbottoms, and carrying my school backpack, plus the huge backpack I took camping on my 4-day hike with the class last week (we had to keep it at school over the weekend and I was taking it home), plus my tent. Hahaha it made me laugh, I explained it to him, but in my head I was like "Hah! Honey, if I was a hobo, I'de prolly have a smarter way to carry all this!"
Aint nuthin I get mistaken for a Bum all the time, all my clothes are worn and beat and im too poor to be able to buy any more, so i walk around in my 5 year old shirt and 3 year old pants and socks, with faded black boots. and when i dont put any deoderant on i smell like a recently lit joint, an my hair smells like beer when it rains so i smell like a bum sometimes too. And im constantly tired so i stagger a bit. But i really think it all comes together when i start playing my harmonica at crosswalks waiting for the light to go, ive had a few times people dropped some coins at my feet..."Its good to be a bum"
My LGA (living group advisor) in the dorms last year thought I was a transient and tried to make me leave. Stupid jerk. When I walk around town I purposely look like a bum so that none of the bums will ask me for change.
I had one adult ask me if I was in need of a shelter once. I didn't really look like a bum-ish person that day either, I was freshly showered...I guess my clothes just give off the vibe.

hahaha... that's like the time this one dude in my class asked me if I was poor because I never ate lunch (they won't even make a salad without meat in it or cheese, lazy wankers). Hahaha.. and then everyone was like defending me and stuff talking about my guitar company (it's on standby at the moment) and one dude even pulled out my business card thing I gave him. Whee... i'm famous for luthiery at my school... and everyone always talks about my toilet seat body tele. Next project, i'm going to try and get a discount through Warmoth, stew mac luthiery supply, or Callaham tremolos.... save up and try to buy bulk... and if I need to, I could sell extra stuff on ebay for a profit. I love doing this... if only supplies were cheaper I'll probably end up buying off of ebay to build the thing... gah.
