Maunsell Army Sea Forts, England These forts were created to protect the Kent, England shores from a German attack during World War II. Afterward, they were decommissioned in 1950, briefly served as radio stations for pirates, and were eventually abandoned—however, there are current plans to restore them so they aren't lost forever.
Wolf you should check out Bald and Bankrupt on YT. Before the war he was visiting lots of creepy soviet buildings, camps and whatnot. He also made friends with Kolya, a decrepit man that lives in the radioactive Chernobyl forest into a cabin log.
Wow some very beautiful places shown on this thread!! I would love exploring them!! This guy happend on an abandoned Mall and found all this!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=iySH0fG7BVQ
That is the most fascinating abandoned place I have ever seen!! I can't believe people would just walk away from it and leave all that stuff there!! Why was it done? Who are they ? Where are they? Frankly , I would be sorely tempted to take some of the abandoned articles, particularly glassware. I have about 500 tapes in my collection , but what's in that place makes mine look like a joke! Thanks for recommending that.
These are so cool! I recently started metal detecting and it’s difficult to find good ares with permission to detect.
I've been getting into urban exploration videos on YouTube. I'm not sure why I find abandoned places so fascinating, but I do.
