This happened when I was getting a hair cut the other day. This lady wasn't taking enough off the top & when I asked to take more she seemed to get a bit angry. When she came around to the front and went to move my head into position by the temples, but she did it a bit too roughly. It wasn't clumsiness. Very shortly afterwards, when she went to brush off the loose hair at the end, she put the brush up against my eyes/nose area too much. I remember half expecting it to happen when I saw her grab the brush. There wasn't even any loose hair on my nose anyway.

I felt that if I pointed out her behaviour that she'd just deny it and make me look paranoid, and that she might then get me back by messing up my hair. I think it's harder to stand up for yourself in that position when someone is looking down at the back of your head. I know I should have said something to her afterwards when paying, but I didn't. I usually view these sorts of things as a case of "well that was your chance, so just let it go" rather than being the guy coming back with a complaint to her manager three days later.

The place only seems to have good reviews online!

I don't complain very often. I just wouldn't go back.

  3. I can see why you left irritated. I would have been irritated too. I wouldn't bother complaining, but I'd never return.

I would not have left a tip, and would not go back to that barber.

Here I found one after looking for two years that does a great job, no problems. And nothing but smiles, always.

Once in Las Vegas I had a 'lady' cutting my hair who was obviously a bit tweaked... she did cut my ear with the scissors... the manager swooped over and bumped her ass out of there, apologized and fixed me up with a bandage, free haircut and a bottle of fancy shampoo.

Fortunately I did not have to complain, the sight of blood everywhere was enough to make a point.

The walk-in, cheap cuts place around here has poor service.

If I did go back. I would ask for a different lady. Then I would give a generous tip, making sure the butcher was aware of my generosity.

Just ask for corrections??? It was the initial correction I made that seemed to annoy her!
