lol, I haven't even started my friend's x-mas presents yet! I would definatly just be super stressful to make it, hand sewing with the babies around, definatly a quick way to go crazy! good luck mama, I would offer to make one for you, but I haven't got a serger or anything, and I've never tried to make anything that important, I'd be afraid to mess it up!
Wow. the first one is absolutely BEAUTIFUL... I think I just found MY wedding dress, hehe. Congrats on your wedding, when is it? I'm having a summer outdoor wedding, too... not for a coupla years though... peace!
number one is the one I'm leaning towards too. It will be the July 4th weekend at the rainbow national this year. If anyone is there you can stop by, hang out, say hi!
I'm thinking that with how busty you are, Erin, it would be best to go with number one...You don't need your boobies flopping out during the ceremony!
hehehe u guys r right... I'd be standing there and they just fall out. Its so embarrashing but yea... always happens in tight stuff. Thanks for reminding me.
First! First! First!!! you will be looking like faerie in it! Have a Great, Peaceful and Romantic Life with your husband and children! P.S. why don't you sew it yourself? it would be great! you have enough time
I love the top one, I've been trying to find a dress like that for my wedding.... awsome idea thanx!!!
I liked the first one. Sorta reminds me of my best friend's wedding dress. She had an outdoor wedding last summer here in Arizona (at 1 pm! thank god there was a breeze...) and she had to keep the cost pretty low too (she was married two weeks after graduating college). She made all of us make our own stuff, which, unless your friends already spend a lot of time sewing, I would definitely not recommend. The bridesmaid couldn't sew, so my friend had to make her wedding dress plus the bridesmaid's. My mom had to sew mine because I didn't have the time or access to space to sew it myself, and the pattern didn't fit my figure correctly so it looked rather hideous. All in all, we spent up until the night before the wedding just working out the clothes. Anyway, what my friend did to keep her costs low was to basically hire friends and family for everything. Her family provided food and beverages, which were pretty basic, as well as the music (her brother is in a band). I did everyone's hair & make-up. Another friend took the photos. All of us helped in setting up the area. Her husband also wore a nice outfit he already had so there wasn't an expense of a tuxedo or suit, even if we could have drugged him and shoved him into one. Outdoor, "alternative" weddings seem to be pretty cheap in comparison to regular weddings. They're also more beautiful & fun to me. ^_^
