Cartoon from 1919 shows issues with mobile phones!

This came from a 1919 newspaper, when telephones were a relatively new invention. Pocket phones is a good alternative name for mobiles. Amazing how accurate the vision turned out!

 

The drawing did get the telephone reference correct, but thankfully society isn't full of Hitler clones as the illustration also suggests.

 

I remember the time when a mobile phone rang, while someone was being presented to our late Queen.
As could be expected, her response was to comment, "That must be someone important".

 

It was Hyacinth Bucket's phone ringing, of course.

 

We all miss Roy Clarke's comedy's today.

 

I really hate hearing them ringing and various beeps that they make ALL OVER THE PLACE!

They really suck!!
