It's an unfinished draft. If you've ever walked the beach at Wasaga at night you'll know the feeling.

Wasaga is hung with stars tonight
    And Huron wears its jewels
In spokes upon its sleepless waves
And near the shore it pools
    In silver amulets
The plum of an August moon
    Is printed upon Georgian's breast,
    Melts on your features too.

    We walk amongst a language
    A thousand years have scribed
    Words that left ancient lips
    Whisper just to us tonight.

Cassiopeia, yr too kind! It's a little lush yet, maybe a touch too nostalgic. But I like the way it's coming together. Wasaga Beach is the world's largest fresh water beach and in the summer it's magic. At night, it's 'magicer'! U have a good day!

Thanks, Fulmah. It's coming. Wasaga is famous for its parties, Wakefest and other great times and I wish I was there now.
Cassiopeia, we all need to keep writing and posting. It's time.

Rafaela, we've probably been there at the same time. Wasaga can't be beaten. Sandbanks, Sauble.... none compares. Too bad Wakefest has been cancelled... well, for now. I'm in the Kawarthas. The silly asses think they can move it here. Nothing to compare locally to all that beach and sheer beauty!

hey kidder,...i admire your work, you're really good!,...especially the line ' The plum of an August moon',....reminded me of Langston Huges and Zora Neal Hurston, and that, my friend...is a compliment!
