they're are now 6 days old, but the tallest one tipped over today, i tied her up with a piece of thread (loosely looped not tied) around the stem and then taped to the pot. If i make my plants flower in that short of time will the stems be able to hold themsevles up or will i need to tie them all up? Other than that, they're nice and pretty .
my cat knocked off three of my seedling trays the other day. damn near killed them, but they survived.. they are laying on their sides because of the trauma. one is still it has been three days. they all lived so they will just get tougher. you need to use a small fan indoors. or the wind does it outdoors. but that will strenghten your stems without tying them up. myself, i really wouldn't worry much about one that small laying down- i would just be sure to let the soil dry out a bit between waterings to be sure it is not damping off. in a couple days it should stand up by itself with a bit of wind on it.not too much directly because it will windburn them. that'sthe reason almost everyone uses occillating fans indoors.
shes doing much better today and already back to standing on her own, although i did put two guide lines on each side (leaving room between them and the plant). Im always having trouble with insects.....not parasites becuz im high up but more of flys and other flying bugs, last night i had two flies and a bee come in my window. (bastards).
i don't reckon you want to prop them up with bits of wood or string, make um strong by themselves!! the weak will die the strong plants will survive! get a fan on them knocking themover a bit, makes them stronger. last grow 2 plants that got knocked over, bent over and generally quite messed up, grew the thickest stems out of the lot. i've heard of people like twisting the stem a bit, the plant repears itself and makes it stronger this grow i've had the fan since day 1, and can see the different in stem thickness
