if you have NOT read this book, please oh please read it, it changes lives. I thought this was definitley one of the best books ive ever read if not the best. but it makes you think and forces you to act. we have to do something. but what?? ive looked at alot of different things, from ecovillages, to what ive kind of settled on, journalism to try to get these ideas out there the only way i know how to, writing. what was you're thoughts?

wow that is a enthusiastic review of the book called ISHMAEL! I will have to try to remember. You know that ISHMAEL was the banished son of father Abraham? Did you know that? I think it's true that Muslims trace their roots back to him. Is it? Ishmael is very interesting character for sure. God said, "He will be a wild ass of a man with his hand against every man." or something.

the book has nothing to do with Abraham's son, absolutley nothing man. but all the same, let it be the first book you read after this. i gaurantee it will be worth every second of your time, you'll know why i gave it such an enthusiastic review, its got something for you to be enthusiastic about. yeh i guess you could use the word enthusiastic. enthusiastic for change.....

i gotta admit that was a good one. i came to this site to pronounce my admiration for daniel quinn's "ishmael" and the first thing i see is that dang article, i almost lost all hope for mankind itself. but what i wanted to say is that reading ishmael for me was like watching the matrix for the first time. the idea that, us as a "species" have been taught the "one way" since birth and have passed this "one way" by our ancestor's is a complete revelation. Daniel Quinn is a genius, i mean it took this book to show me how our "civilazation," "came to be this way" and Daniel Quinn figured out all this stuff by himself. Thank you Daniel Quinn. If you have any feedback e-mail me at vanrothstien@hotmail.com thank you ****** ****** (my ex) for loaning me this book and i promise i'll find the balls to give it back to you.

hehe....this is what always pops up whenever i do a search of my name in google....obviously i starred out my name, cause.....i'm not ready to share my name with you all......
