    He spoke in Iowa today, which indicates he'll run for President, he's expected to announce it in May or June. I hope he and Trump run such dirty campaigns, tearing at and smearing each other, that whoever wins the nomination will come out of it so tainted he can't possibly win the election. Ron DeSantis visits Iowa as presidential bid speculation intensifies

    I also want to mention, Trump is leading DeSantis in the polls right now but a lot can happen in a year and a half, including Trump getting prosecuted for some thing or two. He's currently the subject of at least four major investigations into wrongdoing relating to his handling of White House documents, the election, the insurrection, and his finances.     The Donald could very well end up ineligible to run for President. I'm concerned that might be the only way to stop him, it's amazing that he's the front-runner after all he's said and done. A twice-impeached ex-President who incited an insurrection and is facing various criminal charges, and yet he's a hero to so many. Never underestimate the power of stupidity!

    Unfortunately- whether elected or not, he can continue to cause a lot of trouble, stir up folks with his lies. It's like he enjoys throwing gasoline on the fire.

    DeSantis has the right amount of bigotry and selfishness to be the GOP nominee but he has no charisma at all. I wonder if that will be his downfall

    Damn Dems and Re-pube-licans both aspire to one party rule. I think the Dems will surrender on account
    of natural oops absurdity. They won't terribly care. Fascism is desired any which witchy way.

    The Beat Poets had a feel for absurdity in the service of sanity. Politics has abused it for the worse.
    Dems are the baddass children. Pubes get tintillated and... something.

    Locally we have some trouble with fraud. Prices increase but the advertised shelf price
    don't change.
