do books like this bug you or do you find them interesting? i just read the most awful book today by ishmael Reed. I don't get him at all it's just like you're stuck in this mythological realm that permits you no insigt into a clear story line. His voices used way too much dramaturgy and they spoke inthis weird oral dimensiont hat i just couldn't understand. there was no clear focal point and no narrative center whats so ever. Too add to it's suckiness the novel was completley unmarked you had to guess which charecter was speaking. I pretty much wrote my paper on how much he sucks. i've seen him at a poetry reading before so I was very dissapointed by that his books thus far have been well shitty.
Sounds ghastly. I read Burroughs and once you get into the rhythm of it you can kind of pick out the important stuff and just enjoy being fucked with. I can't imagine the book you've described being enjoyable in any way though.
hey man, whenever i see that picture you got up of that shit i'm gonna think of a dumbass. i don't want to get personal but on the other page you trashed old buk and now you're showing your true self, with this burroughs shit. he doesn't fuck with anybody. burroughs is a fucking one dimensional, astute motherfucker. he doesn't fuck with anything. come on now. oh yeah, how can you enjoy burroughs and talk so much shit about buk. i guess you're just searching for yourself and not finding it so you come around and blame it on writers. read gifted disabilities by justin blackburn, seriously man. it will help you understand burroughs and buk. its on www.booksurge.com. please, man, it's for your own good.
i like books that give insight and meaning...or elaborate on an intriguing concept / thought process.. something i can learn a bit more from for my quest....and be entertained
If you'd actually read those posts, you'd know I was basing it on the impression I'd got of him, not anything of his that I'd ever read. Also you're a ****.
