Try to be, if you're able, more obtuse. And it's "woman," not "lady"--unless we're time-traveling back to 1960's Vegas.

I've never tried a pair and I asked my wife her opinion in regards to the question. She went in her dresser and pulled out a brand new pair of black leggings. She said to try them on to get both our opinions. I loved the comfort and feel of them and under my long t shirt didn't think they looked bad at all. She agreed on the looks. Being a solid color or black. Her opinion was probably not in printed material. I wore them all day yesterday and drove to dollar general and went inside. Nobody paid me any mind to them. Being I like crosdressing, I decided back at home to wear a tank top of my wifes. 720768438.jpg

I’m glad that you found them COMFORATABLE, and that your CASUAL shopping in your CASUAL ‘leggings’ was uneventful.
I’m not advocating prints, light colors, size too tight, or anything similar to the electric blue ones picture above. I agree with your wife’s idea to stick with solid black or dark colors as my intent is NOT make a public display of my ‘goods.’.You are lucky to have a wife that is open minded and is supportive of you.

I don’t see why women in general would have an issue with this less revealing casual wear by men.

At yoga class today I wore a pair of "scrunch butt" / butt lifting leggings and caused a flurry of giggles and rearranging positions positions behind me as several ladies re positioned themselves for a better look. No negative comments thankfully and everyone settled down as class started but I did get several favorable comments after class as well as an invitation to join two of the ladies for coffee after class. They were more interested in where I had bought my leggings so we had an interesting conversation. I suspect I'll have something more interesting to see in class next week.;)
life is good. and yoga class is fun. :D

Thanks for sharing. Your encounter at the yoga class confirms that if a guy has a decent ass, that women LIKE to see it, regardless if in tight jeans or ANY type of tight pants.

Any of the ladies show up at class with similar leggings to yours?

Are you still wearing your butt lifting leggings to class and getting any more reactions?

@Ralfee I guess I could say I seem to have my own fan club at the studio. I could also say those butt lifting leggings will make a decent ass look like a really, really great ass! That goes for women and men!
I've begun wearing leggings when out on short trips to the library, gassing up the car, getting coffee, ect and I leave the dance belt home 'cause its uncomfortable long term. still wear in class tho. Mew wearing leggings must be catching on because the last time I bought leggings off amazon, I got my usual "L" size and they fit more like an "XL"
And the women in my class all take up spots in the back row. and yes, some women show up in the "scrunch butt" leggings;) :D

It does seem like they are more acceptable in public now.
When you are out doing errands at library or coffee shop, do you notice any reaction to you in leggings?

As I mentioned before, I like wearing gym leggings that are seamless at the front. They fit very snug and leave nothing to the imagination. I usually wear with a t-shirt that covers. I have now started wearing scrunch butt leggings to show off my butt, also the same seamless snug fit at the front. I wore them with a shorter vest top for a spin class at a gym, and for a weights session, so everything obvious, definitely attracts attention, and definitely a conversation starter with others afterwards. Have also worn them when just out jogging, again gets a lot of looks. I'm enjoying the attention.

I usually wear footless tights to yoga (Most tights are semi-sheer and thinner so I'll wear a dancebelt) and I'm buying another scrunch butt legging. Reactions range from quiet acceptance to "Hey, Nice ass. / I like your tights". Nothing negative, no pitchforks and torches. Just interesting conversations with a few risque comments thrown in.
    Buncha flirts.
The ladies who invited me for coffee wanted my opinion on the butt lifting leggings. They both said they wished their husbands would lighten up and at least try wearing them. They usually stop in for coffee or tea and gave me a standing invite to join in. I'm waiting for the outspoken one to cop a feel. :p ;) :D I'll post if she does.

Depends on your region, I suppose. Where I am from (UK), a lady is a particular demographic with the category 'women'.

My first response is, why should men have to burden heavy , uncomfortable materials and saggy areas which to me I hate. Secondly, why can't fashion ever change? Must we be burdened forever with the same drab looks our entire lives?
My last response is the why's of so many things wrong in this country. You write....
"wearing them in public may be viewed as inappropriate"
Why do we allow society to dictate such simple harmless things we do in our lives. We need to demolish much of the social stigma that sets the standard for our culture. If we allowed the freedom maybe people would be happier and less offended with simple things in life.

Thank ‘you Daretobare for your EXCELLENT input above.

I 100% agree with your thoughts and is hits the bullseye on WHY I started this thread.

Throw off the old social stigma and be open minded to new things, which is part of what HIPFORUMS is all about.

If a man doesn’t want to wear legging in public, then DON”T, that’s his decision, but don’t restrict others who wish to do so

Let’sbe open minded and create out NEW standard.

Athletic wear. I wear tight fitting athletic wear when training or in competition. My trisuits show the outline of my genitals as does my cycling kits. When I put a suit or bib short on I purposely pull my cock and balls up and the outline of my cock distinctly shows under the material. I pull my genitals up so that when I ride in the aerobars, leaning forward, I don't pinch my equipment. I've pinched myself before and it really hurts. If I'm on a long bike ride I may stop at a store and pick up some food and drink. Everything is clearly visible as I walk around and pick up what I need. I do not do this for show even though I like knowing I can be seen, but it's for comfort. I've never had anything said but I have noticed people, both men and women, looking at me down there. They will see something like this:
