I know this is probably incorrect thinking but I often wonder when I hear such things as this... isn't gay and conservative an oxymoron? A person has the right to think and believe freely - but it often seems that a person who is gay would see that conservative ideology is not all that gay friendly and I wonder how they can support that - as it is an antithesis to who they are.
At the same time, sometimes it also seems that the need to have correct thinking goes too far.
It is hilarious this professor would think it is a good idea to hand out chocolates with these labels. It also has made me smile to witness some conservative people freak out over their favorite drinks or candies suddenly going woke.
I can't quite wrap my brain around this.

 

By the way, I had my first Bud Lite at a festival in my city last night. I was so proud of myself for being so woke.

 

a few weeks ago Budweiser featured a commercial and a Bud Lite can with a transgender person on it. All the tough boys - the country singers and the football players and the far right fanatics just about lost their minds over it and boycotted Bud.
I was making light of it all by sarcastically using a play of words with being proud (LGBT pride) and being so woke (liberal) by supporting Bud Lite by buying a beer at a festival
