    Melania seems to have been absent from just about every one of Trump's rallies and on the campaign trail in general..

    Melania recently said she'd love to be First Lady in a second Trump term, but one would never know it judging by her absence.

    Trump's GOP competitors don't seem to be mentioning her absence.

    Trump obstructed NARA and the DOJ by slow-walking the return of the government documents.

    He showed a top-secret document to unauthorized people at Bedminster.

    Trump has been charged with obstructing the DOJ by playing a shell game with the document boxes at Mar-a-Lago.

    Trump has been charged with obstructing the DOJ by trying to delete video that showed the movement of the boxes.

    He's made a request to the court to be able to view the documents again at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster instead of a secure location with only his attorneys.

    People are waiting to see if Judge Aileen Cannon falls for it.

    The way it's going, at the 2024 GOP national convention, attendees could be watching Trump's criminal court proceedings on the big screen or seeing a feed of him giving his keynote address from prison

    The GOP should be happy. It is a large cost saving decision NOT to move a military headquarters all over the place. The only reason Trump wanted to move them was to gather brownie points with in the GOP.

    The thing about the Donald Trump Score Card is that he still holds power over the elected GOP and the voters. He has set the tone, and like good little boys and girls, they all do as they are told, with only a very few speaking out against him - and apparently with that, very little traction comes out of it. Nikki Haley on Face the Nation Sunday morning tried to say we need to move on from this era of Trumpism, but instead of calling him out as the crook he is, she said the Justice Department has become a weaponized tool of the Biden presidency. Really, Nikki? And what did we have with Trump's team leading the Justice Department?

    At my age, I've seen the balance of power shift back and forth over the years - from Democrats to Republicans to Democrats - and some of the things each newly elected person does is spend time undoing what their predecessor had done. I don't think it ever hit me how crazy this is... and how do we manage to ever get anywhere over time? But the Donald Trump we see, who leads even with massive corruption and lawsuits and indictments...

    It is a sad commentary to American politics that PACs spend millions of dollars to influence us to vote this way or that... what a waste - how much better that money could be used - Yet, I cannot imagine now that Trump will not be the nominee.
