What would you do if you got a million dollars today?

I'll take that as a compliment - thank you.

We already sponsored two girls through school in India, I think that is what I would do, sponsor girls around the world who otherwise would be married off early , there is no other alternative for girls in poverty. If they can get an education they have more of a chance of a better life.

 

I dunno what I would do.......

 

I would buy some acreage in a beautiful location, plant a permaculture food forest, build a cob house with an amazing library, a workshop for my crafts and an art studio. I would grow enough food to donate to my local community and hopefully make some money off my art, writing, or crafts. Million or not, those are still my goals.

 

I'd invest for a decent income stream and leave this job so fast there would be vapor trails behind me. =====================|>>

 

Think I'll change my original post----I'd now get a '49 Cadillac fastback and a pint a 'Jack in the black and of course--STILL cruise for chicks!

Fix our van up, move from our current apartment. Visit my mother which i aint done in 25yrs. Ofcourse build or buy somesorta motorhome. & invest in somesorta green sleepaboard boat fleet. Between the rv's & boats thered be plenty of extra livingspace for capts-crews. Plz visit my new project thread. I've outlined alot there. & id checkout other concepts should i come into a gifting.

 

I am part way there but never won the lottery....yet

If I won the lottery today, I would still finish those things but I would also buy my neighbor's 90 acres, she is 76 and her daughter is pushing her to sell it. I would fix up her place and let her stay there rent free for however long she wanted to stay. That way she is no longer being pressured to sell, has a better place to live comfortably, and gets to spend her days feeding the deer and bird like she loves to do. And I get to insure that no one buys her property to clear cut it for logging.
