It's also childish trying to fix and better a sad pathetic cause like this. Since you keep commenting too, you're 5 like the rest of us. I liked your kissing idea better. Only it didn't work.
I didn't say you were rude or offensive. You and Shadow have been implying that I have this whole time; but never once did I say anything like that. I said to blame your offense on the people that offend you isn't always fair - and definitely wasn't in that case. Angry - maybe, I'd like to call it impassioned And to Shadow - get off my dick already. I don't give a shit about the last word. I was angered by what she initially said, I suppose; but I have certainly not been angry since. Arguing doesn't mean you're angry - it means you have differences that you want reconciled. I am trying to get her to see that the people she was offended by, are simply making comparisons that they see - not attempting to attack those who see differently. If she doesn't see that, oh well. But I have to try. And you belittling me the whole time for having a debate, or telling her that I'm just bothered that she likes to shave (which isn't the case at all, I prefer hair, but I already gots my girl, the rest of the women can do whatever the fuck they want =P) definitely isn't helping.
Duck, you got me as wrong as perhaps I got you. I wasn't being personal or attacking people for having a preference. The things you said were perfectly reasonable, and I don't have a problem or issue with anyone voicing their opinions for that reason. I didn't say nearly enough in my original post, but you certainly got me wrong by a long shot. I don't have a problem with people not liking a girl who shaves entirely because they find her less womanly and grown-up, or they don't like the shaved look because they don't think it's their taste. I find it tastelss that (some) people refer to the shaved womans boyfriend as having a taste for underage girls and for considering her to be 'fake'. I didn't want to go as far in my original post as mentioning paedofilia. Whether or not you've heard it in the same conversation before, I don't know. But I have, and rightly or wrongly so (which ever) I didn't like it. Only some people do this. I didn't say that anybody who had written in this entire thread had done this. I was just stating something I related to the subject, and I didn't at all expect anyone to pick up on it. Since my original post wasn't directed at anyone at all, it was pretty neutral. Yet you appeared (to me anyway) to take it personally, and debated the opposite end of the argument. I never blamed anyone for prefering the more natural beauty of a woman. I didn't blame you or anyone here for anything. I didn't understand you saying I had no right to be offended, since I wasn't offended by you and I have as much right to dislike something as you have had to dislike the things that I said. I would even edit the last paragraph in my original post for you to better explain it, but after all this it's probably best left alone just so it all makes sense now. I'm sorry you got me wrong, Duck. (I keep wanting to call you Ducky.) And I'm sorry I didn't say things as I should have too. I really don't think it matters. And Shadow, much though I think you're decent, you enjoyed this debate more than anyone!
I didn't take it personally at all. I'm argumentative, not everyone on the net throws all their emotions into it =P It seems maybe what started this argument was maybe not what you meant to say. It seemed to me like you were saying that when people compare it to a Barbie doll, or a prepubescent crotch, it is offensive, period. I would agree that if they take it further (the whole 'you're boyfriend must be a pedo', 'you must be a superficial whore' you brought up) that it is a flat out disgusting and wrong generalization. I was however, simply talking about the comparison. I was arguing against your original post, that it is offensive to compare it to a Barbie doll, or a prepubescent girl; and I was arguing that when most say that they don't mean to offend, they are simply making comparisons. And that's who I was saying you were wrongly blaming (anyone that compares hairless crotch to such things). I agree with you on the ones that do mean to offend, or are generally being assholes, of course - but I don't feel you were specific enough for me to know that's what you meant in the OP.
No, there was a lot more to it than just a plastic dolly and a kid. It's cool now anyway, understood. Back to the topic- SHAVED. It's better (I think)
I think too hairy can be bad for certain sexual activities. But aesthetically trimmed is my favorite. So everything points to trimmed being the best to me. =)
I've tried to just keep it short and trimmed but I don't like it and it's too much work. It ends up just staying crazy short, I'd prolly try and shave it with the scissors. You can see how much the times have changed though, my mum was telling me she'd never let a doctor see her unless she had a decent amount of hair there to cover her up. I however wouldn't let my doctor see me with it. And that's not just because I fancy him.
ok well now that the maturity level has gone back up... i shave but i do find it to be a lot of work to actually get it the way i want it. i generally kinda give up at some point and say its good enough.
The only person being immature this whole time was you. There is nothing immature about a bit of a debate.
why would anybody be ashamed of having or not having hair? i mean those are kinda the only two options...
Fourteen years on, those willing to be naked in public don't seem to have a bush very often. Those who are always in swimwear seem to bother less it seems.
Old post but. In my opinion I think more voice is what’s happening now. More women choose to grow their hair out now because they want to. And if they want to well who am I to argue with what you do with your body
Trimming, shaving or leaving pubic hair untouched and natural are all different fashion trends to some extent, but like any fashion trend it seems to change with the times. Back when I was going through puberty, you didn't see a woman without a full bush. All the women in the magazines that I used for visual stimulation during masturbation all had full bushes. My mother and both my older sisters had full bushes. This may be why I prefer women who leave their pubic hair untouched. Back to the original question, like any other fashion trend shaving and trimming will come and go. Personally, I love a woman who leaves her pubic hair untouched as long as it's not a matted "jungle" down there!!! LET IT GROW!!!!
I work in a naturist spa and see plenty of nude women (and men), the definite trend here at the moment is for the completely smooth bald look, no pubic hair at all.
