Thought I'd put this on Random thoughts too. More women's opinions and thoughts needed around the forums.

I hope you realize posting this duplicate thread isn't going to magically attract more women to the forums.

Perhaps starting threads they might be interested in, might help. And I'm not referring to sexual come ons.

I keep bumping this because I want the women to see that many of us are concerned when they pass by.

I do think though that many women, on taking a look in, may be put off by the amount of overtly sexual threads that appear when opening new posts.

 

I would agree. I have my wife on here too and she's having fun with it. I wish more women would try it.

We have a whole lot of non-sexual forums here to interest women. We used to have a lot of hippie ladies on board, but over the years trolls and misogynists have chased them away. Now it's horny guys.

It's all a reflection of the greater society and the decline of polite discussion on social networks. The lack of moderation on many social networks has led to a decline in respect for others online and in the real world.

On Hipforums we take moderation seriously and try to achieve a balance that does not interfere with free speech. It's one reason we're still here after 25+ years. It's a lot of work, but our volunteer mods do a great job keeping this site an enjoyable experience.

And we appreciate our supporters because they help keep the site alive with their donations.

 

We're happy to be here and so far we're enjoying it. My wife likes the fact she can let go and be herself here and chat with anyone about sexual issues.
