It most definitely appears that way. I have the same problem, a drug charge, so if anyone runs a background check I automatically don't get the job. That sucks. Good look on your new job searches everyone!

well luckily (haha) this company is soo late paying me that I have about $6,500 coming to me that dates back to november, so I'll have that to live on for a while.

I'm not sure that I can even get unemployment being self employed.
