I can give you my perspective on all this, and keep in mind, it's only my perspective. I think "real spankings" is probably different for everyone, but in my mind, a real spanking is a spanking that you really don't want to get, but for some reason you want it. For a a kid, you don't have a choice. When you get spanked, you get spanked. As an adult, you do have a choice, but you choose it because there is probalby sex involved. So with that said, in my case, I love getting a real spanking for very real things like lying, attidtue, talking back, getting drunk and embarassing my husband at a party, getting a speeding ticket, etc. So when it's time for the spanking, it's very real with scolding, lecturing, clothing removal(preferably stripped naked), and then spanked until I am screaming. And then after.......adult fun....So even though the spanking is real, and it hurts and sometimes I am crying....for me, it's foreplay....

 

I think it's all about head space. Maybe to be put in a place in your head where you were at a particular time in your life. You want to be put in a painful or embarassing situation, but then again you don't, but as an adult, there is something inside of you that wants to be punished, so you keep acting up and getting in trouble. Not sure if any of that makes sense. LOL

My mom spanked me til I was 24 for a number of real reasons. Now it’s my gf who does it.

I spanked a friend recently for a couple of reasons. She KNEW that what she did was likely to get her spanked and it did. She took it well. She cried and was sore.
