my dogs flipping out

cos its storming.. she's shaking and panting

she follows me EVERYwhere

i had to talk to her.. strongly to get her to lay in her bed and not practically sitting on top of me (shes a big dog)

she even followed me into the bathroom



do you guys's pets do this

 

When I had a dog, he would freak out when it stormed.

 

she only heard thunder like.. once tonight and she's been like this for the last 20 minutes

 

It's probably the wind. I know a black lab that will cower at the sound of wind. It's probably some sort of nasty pitch.

 

my dog will start barking at 1 am for no reason....
one time the unlocked front door blew open b/c of the wind and she freaked out and it scared me, i went and grabbed the butcher knife and was like 'shhhhh you're freaking me out dog' and then i waited til' she calmed down to crawl into the living room and thats when i saw that the front door was open....that wasn't cool but it was somewhat funny.
