Obviously it can happen....occasionally I will have sex with my husband when I'm not really in the mood, but he's never forced me, I just do him a favor. I mean sometimes you compromise, or just do things to make your spouse happy. lol I'm pretty sure if I said "oh honey not tonight" and he just got on top and starting doing it then I would lose some trust, I mean if he won't respect my feelings what kind of relationship do we have?
i believe it is possible for a husband to rape his wife because if she doesnt want to have sex with him and he forces her too, it is unwanted and like rape. he could also have forced her to do things she didn't want to be doing.
OMG!!!...that was so horrible, you made me cry!!! I was raped before, by my landloard, after my husband and I spit up. It was horrible and very graphic. He took pictures of different poses of me crying and screaming. He was about 600 pounds and was a known pervert. He used his master apartment key to come right into my apartment, while I was sleeping. He also threatened if I ever told anyone he would fuck me up and kick me and my kids out on the street. I did eventually reported the incident a month later to the police.
I just call that "keeping the peace, and getting it over with so I can get some sleep." Not rape. I know he goes without, sometimes, so I can go along if I am not in the mood, too. Most womyn in a long term relationship know what you and I are talking about. Now when you start resenting it, then it becomes a problem. Brownie, I am so sorry you went through such a horrible ordeal. Have you been to a Rape Crisis center for counseling? It can really help you heal. I am glad you reported it to the police. These people NEED to be in jail. Blessings, Maggie
*hugs* some of the things said made me cry! Of course it's possable for a husband to rape his wife. dictionary definition: RAPE: having sexual intercourse with someone against their will. my mums EX-husband raped her. He just said 'you're having sex with me' and did it. because she didnt want to, the lining of her vagina was grazed and sore. she had to go to the docters. The night after this he said to her 'when I get home I want you in a maids outfit and I want a blow job' he treated her like a whore and because it was his house, she had to comply. eventually she plucked up the courage to leave him. Now shes skint but happy. Em- Im so proud of you. peace x x emily

LOL, pretty much...let me clarify though, he usually doesn't know if "I'm doing it but not in the mood"...if I was to start resenting it I would have to tell him I was doing it first lol But if I'm ever REALLY not in the mood I'll tell him, and he respects it, so I don't mind doing him a favor every once in awhile
Thanks!..yes I did get counseling, but not at a rape crises center. He didn't go to jail, after I reported the incident to the police. It was very embarassing, when I had to recap the entire incident, to a detective, on a tape recorder. The detective asked questions, like what were you wearing and have I been sending the wrong signals to this guy. He also told me that, we could try to take this to trial, but most cases don't go that far. He said that it would help my case, if others, would come forward, admitting that they were raped by him, as well. He said that his attorney would drag my name in the dirt and focus on my credibility. He then advised me, that if he was me, he wouldn't date or get involved with a man, for at least a year, until I get myself together. So, I got in contact with most of the women in the complex and only four women were sexually assualted by this guy, but did not want to come forward. I did more research and found out that this guy was the landlord for 3 more apartment complexes. I wrote a letter to the main office that own all of the rental properties, but never received a response. I even called, but no one returned my calls. At this point, I was ready to give up. When I first reported the incident to the sex crimes unit, I was referred to a counselor that worked at the police station, who found another apartment for me and also had some members from her church to help me move out of my apartment complex. She said that she wanted to get me out of there, because the police were going to search his office and it could get ugly. Anyway, after our first court appearance, the guy totally denied it and told the judge that he wanted me banned from the apartment complex. The judge granted a restraining order against my former landlord and that was basically all that happened with my case. It was a total waste of my time. Now, I see why women don't come forward, when they get raped!
