Thou shall not covet thy competitor's election win.

Thou shall not steal thy competitors election win.

Thou shall not kill thy VP.

Possible reasons in Cannon's mind why Ed Meese should be allowed to testify in court for merely filing an amicus brief:

'Oh, but Ed Meese is from the Reagan administration. Trump awarded Meese the Presidential Medal Of Freedom. The stature of Ed Meese makes him the ideal person to defend Trump who's reputation as a former president is at stake.'

Jackie Speier, Jonestown Survivor: Trump Has 'Trappings' of Jim Jones

    excerpt:

"There’s a resignation that happens when you think you’re going to die, and you just wait. I said the Act of Contrition, as I was raised a good Catholic girl, and really was waiting for the lights to go out. And then when they didn’t, there’s this sense that, “Well, then I am going to live.” And so I just presumed I was going to live. But the truth of the matter was 22 hours without medical attention, my legs totally blown up, my arms blown up. And when they finally airlifted me onto the medevac plane, one of the reporters later told me that he heard the medic say, “She had another three minutes.” And there were two times I was so unstable where they were going to put the plane down, I think in Puerto Rico then in New Orleans. They didn’t think I was stable enough."

Jackie Spier survived Trump's riot at the Capitol..

Jackie Speier, Jonestown Survivor: Trump Has 'Trappings' of Jim Jones

    excerpt:

"I am completely disturbed by the potential of another four years of Donald Trump. I served in Congress during his tenure and thank God we had control of the House during most of that time. I was in the House gallery when January 6 took place. I’m lying on the floor in the gallery and there’s a gunshot that rings out in the Speaker’s lobby. And I thought, “Oh my God, I survived the jungles of Guyana and I’m going to die in this tabernacle of democracy.” I mean, that’s how close I thought we were. And it could have been much worse in terms of bloodshed had more guns been brought into the Capitol."

Former police officer, Gonnell, who was injured during Trump's riot, describes Republicans welcoming Trump at the Capitol that past week as 'sickening'.

Latino officer attacked on Jan. 6 'sick' over Republican welcome of Trump at Capitol

    excerpt:

"Aquilino Gonell, a former law enforcement officer who was nearly crushed to death on Jan. 6, 2021, at the hands of the mob that stormed the Capitol, still carries shards from the building's tunnel entrance.

The Iraq War veteran showed those shards in an interview Thursday on MSNBC’s "The ReidOut" to remind the public about the day when rioters stormed the Capitol, stirred by then-President Donald Trump’s lie that the election had been stolen.

But he was also hoping maybe they could be shown to Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, “because last week he was hosting the guy who sent the mob to tear down and knock down the doors of the Capitol where I almost died," Gonell said. "

Latino officer attacked on Jan. 6 'sick' over Republican welcome of Trump at Capitol

    excerpt:

"Gonell, a Dominican American, had to undergo physical and mental rehabilitation for his injuries. He said that Johnson and other Republicans who welcomed Trump are alive today because of his and his colleagues' actions Jan. 6, "not because the guy they are receiving as a hero. He didn't do anything to keep them safe. For God's sake, he is the one who sent them to the Capitol and here they are embracing him like nothing happened.""

Louisiana’s Ten Commandments Law Signals a Broader Christian Agenda

    excerpt:

"The Ten Commandments law, in particular, was a significant victory because it was the first such mandate to be passed in the country in more than 40 years. Lawmakers in Oklahoma, Mississippi and West Virginia, all controlled by Republicans, introduced similar bills this year, but none of them passed.

In Arizona, the Republican-controlled Legislature did pass a bill that would permit, but not require, teachers to display the Ten Commandments in classrooms. But Gov. Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, vetoed the bill. A similar bill in Georgia did not make it out of the legislature."

Trump does an about-face on Biden: from Biden supposedly not being able to put two sentences together to BIden being a great debater.

Trump expects Biden to be a 'worthy debater' after spending months attacking his mental fitness

    excerpt:

"Pointing to Biden's vice-presidential debate performance against former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who ran as the VP choice of Sen. Mitt Romney in his 2012 presidential campaign, Trump, in a rare moment, praised Biden.

"All I can say is this, I watched him with Paul Ryan, and he destroyed Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan with the water, he was chugging water left and right … and he beat Paul Ryan. So, I'm not underestimating him. I'm not underestimating him. It is what it is."

Trump’s comments are a departure from his previous rhetoric and come as his campaign advisers have warned that Biden may overperform on Thursday because expectations have been set low for him, though Trump himself has contributed to those conversations.

"Crooked Joe Biden is the WORST debater I have ever faced - He can't put two sentences together!" Trump posted on his social media platform when he accepted Biden's debate proposal."

Teamsters union president to speak at RNC convention.

Trump announces Teamsters union chief to speak at Republican convention

    excerpt:

"A Teamsters spokesperson confirmed the news, saying it was “truly unprecedented since it will be the very first time a Teamsters general president has addressed the RNC”. The powerful union represents more than a million members across sectors such as trucking, packaging, manufacturing and logistics."

Trump says he has selected a VP.

Burgum seems like a high probability. He has the least baggage, apparently no critical remarks about Trump from the past. He is said to be worth about $100 million.

Vance of OH could give Trump a Great Lakes boost for swing states and is probably high on the list, but he made numerous highly critical remarks about Trump before he fell in love with him that would be used against him.

A VP from FL like Rubio or Donalds has legal issues due to not being able to receive electoral votes of a state if both the presidential and VP candidate are residing in the same state. It could potentially cost Trump the electoral votes of FL even if he wins the state.

Like Vance, Rubio made critical remarks about Trump, including his small hands, which infuriates Trump.

What he is being prosecuted for. May seem silly to some. But attempting a bigger reason may be & obviously is beyond a scope of possibles. A small yet huge example is him not debriefing the incoming potus. Or even having the decency to be present @ the changeover. Hard to list it all in offhand convos. Including health & financial nondisclosure.
