I don’t care what others think about me liking to be nude, however I don’t advertise that I am a nudist but if asked about it I will answer any question someone may have. I separate nudity and sex but I think a majority of people associate nudity with sex, and think if your nude you must be looking for sex

Thanks for the cheeseburger and ice cream metaphor. Can I add pizza and beer? You've made the same point, in a good way, numerous times. And I always agree. It's really about behaving appropriately for the situation, right? According to that old- fashioned notion of avoiding offending others, but also knowing that there is a group out there that will go out of their way to be offended. Hence striking that balance.

But there is definitely the "gradient" as you call it- shades of gray, matters of degree - as to how much "boy-girl" "attraction" is going on when we're enjoying nude recreation with a companion or companions of the opposite sex, whether we made the excursion together or met at the venue.

This thread is about who you can be nude with, comfortably. With my first wife, unfortunately no. With my second wife a resounding yes. And she'll strongly encourage me to be nude even when she's staying clothed. If that sounds a little like "CFNM", you might say it is, although it evolved naturally over time. Now we get a laugh out of it also being a "thing" with a name!

And I've also told about my friend Margaret, who is the most non-nudist person you could meet, but completely understands and supports my nudism. I was never nude with her during visits while I was single, but not perhaps for why you would guess. Rather than be offended, she was concerned with having too much the opposite reaction. I think I can leave it at that.

At any rate, the point I return to is that I've been blessed over time with understanding friends and family, in contrast to the problematic ones.

I am an at home nudist as I am naked at home in the house all the time (except when working as I put a shirt on due to frequent video calls) and in our backyard tending the fruit trees and such. My wife isn't into it but doesn't have a problem with me being naked. Actually right now as I type this we are both sitting in our recliners, I am totaly naked and she is in sweatshirt, sweatpants, and under a blanket. Opposites do attract I guess.

Our family know that I am naked all the time, and some even joke about it or ask about it. My mother in law even came over one time while I was working (so in only my shirt). I went out to great her and have a chat. No issues.

 

I am a nudist but my gf does not like seeing me nude. I get naked when she is not around and at 2 friends house. I wish I could be naked all the time. My friends are in their 70s and let me be myself and get naked..

 

I think it would be seen as very rude to invite anyone into my home while I'm nude unless I ask them first, and I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to ask! They'd very likely be offended by that too. For most people most of the time, nudity is just too intimate to share. It doesn't have to be that way, but I think it's what most people expect.
