Bad Faith (2024) Documenting the rise of Christo-Fascism and their incestuous relationship with the Republican Party.
God did create a perfect man and woman. They were in the Garden of Eden. God gave us something called free will. We can choose what we do. Do I get up and go to work to support myself or lay in bed and bitch that the government is not giving me enough money? Do I stop and have a beer and shoot the shit with my friends or have so many I can't hardly walk? Smoke cigarettes or not. We have the freedom to choose what we want to do. Most every choice though comes with consequences. Some are not good. As a typical woman, when God said do not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Eve said "where is it?" The best way to get a woman to do something is to tell her not to. As the knight Templar told Indiana Jones, she chose poorly. When God created man in his own image, he created a spiritual being, not a physical one. That doesn't mean we are exactly like God, only that we are a spiritual being. We have physical churches, but the Bible says we are to worship God spiritually. Churches are simply a place where like minded people can get together. No different than a gym where people get together to work out. The last of the Bible was written about 2,000 years ago. Most all of the world was governed by men, men were the absolute rulers of the family. What they decided for their household, unless it ran counter to the government, was the law. Some countries are still that way, mostly Arabic. So it was the way cultural worked then. Now days with all the political correctness bullshit. Now we have to be gender neutral. Not salesman or saleswoman but salesperson. Of course saleswomen has men in it and salesperson has son in it. Gee, are they really gender neutral then. I highly doubt that God cares whether you consider Him masculine or feminine. In the end it comes down to free will again. YOU get to choose what to believe. If people who believe that God does not exist and they are right, what does it do for me? Nothing. I will have lived a life where I tried to be a better person and when I die it's all over. If people who believe that God exists and accepted Christ as their savior are right, then I will still have lived a life where I tried to be a better person and when I die, then life will be much better. I do not judge nor condemn any person for what they believe or their actions because I'm just as guilty as everyone else.
Might I suggest punching your language up a bit with choices like "salescreature" or "sales-entity"? Declared gender-free and safe for everyone!
Though I am indeed not the sharpest knife in the drawer, even I know that, anatomy-wise, a MAN is a MAN and a WOMAN is a WOMAN.........then again, my observations date to a time before sex changes became commonplace..............
And I'm sure that the holy rollers are having strokes behind gender identity and what people are doing to change their bodies to match their self-perception.
In an old Diana Ross song ("Mirror, Mirror"), there was the line: You've turned my life into a paperback novel". Think of how many screwed-up idiots do that to the Bible, changing quotes and passages around to fit their own distorted views. Then, too, a Diana Ross & The Supremes song from 1967, "Reflections": ".......living in a world of distorted reality................." Oh, yes...............
Which is why I don't pay attention to holy rollers and why I never paid attention to all those religious folks who told me that I'm going to hell because I have sex with men...
Ditto. Besides, I have lots of other reasons to be sent to hell...adding that one would just be overkill!
I say that if I'm going to hell, I'm going to be in good company... and that's probably not the only thing that'll get me a seat on the bus to hell...
For those who take the Bible "literally", and thinking ALL within its pages are TRUTH, would they also regard EVERY WORD within the pages of the sleazies tabloid as "gospel truth"? What? There were NO "storytellers" or "ad libbers", 1,000 or more years ago, that sought to embellish "fact" (loose definition, here) with "fiction"?, for the sake of a "good" story?
What about the allegations that there are books/chapters of the bible that were removed and/or omitted? Rumor has it that the Catholic Church removed stuff from the bible and stashed it away so that we would only see what they wanted us to see, believe, and take on faith. The Church doesn't exactly deny the allegations, which makes this religious conspiracy theory even juicer. This one drives even the most serious holy rollers insane... and I'm still not worried or concerned about them.
I had forgotten about this; but, from a "church" that calls itself "The One TRUE Church", this should come as no surprise whatsoever. Talk about hypocrisy in the Name of the Lord...............
More like it's propaganda in the name of the Lord; it's about control for them and they cannot control someone who doesn't believe; if you're not afraid of dying and going to hell, they cannot control a damned thing that you might do. If you're not afraid to question religion, they cannot control you.
It's not really my observation but one I've heard many times over the years that does have a bit of sense to it... because we do have holy rollers, don't we?
