Wouldn't it be cool if there was a super pill that made all humans have high self esteem and have no sense of jealousy, therefore elimanating the need for the war, and maybe it could also be a birth control pill at times to control population rates, and it was distibruted by the government, so that if population in one place got too high they'd make the super pill into birth control pills to slow the population rate down. And then make it into a aphrodesiac if the population got too low..... This was all stolen from a book called "Oryx and Crake" by margaret Atwood, good reading.
But what if the side effects were good side effects? hmmmmmmmm, now thats some thinking..............
but there has to be a downside somewhere..nothings perfect..heh i sound like a pessimist ..but seriously..like maybe it slowly killed off braincells or something..or worked too well so people had a falsely high opinion of themselves when really they had some major problems..? ierno.. tis all hypothetical anyways i suppose ..
its somewhat like the pill in an earlier book, Aldus huxleys brave new world. He talks of the persect pill,soma. Maybe thats where atwood got her insparation.
self esteem - cocaine! no jealousy etc.... acid or ket birth control - speed well... put them into one. this weekend i was on acid and speed. last weekend was cocaine, acid and ket... i guess its gotta work
lovely childish thoughts.... sorry buddy... all those things you'd wanna get rid of is called Life..... deal with it the way it is.... we're all dealt different cards in life, play'em.... why would you want a pill like that anyways.... it seems somethin that would be made by the machine to control us even more than they try to already...... war is needed... wether the reasons for was are right or not.... its needed.... people need to die... no its not a good thing.... but its needed humans are reproducing at too fast of rate.... natural resources are being deminished... and without death to slim the worlds population we just become an infestation to mother earth.. yea natural death takes its course.. but its not fast enough.... sorry to say it.... but mass death is needed for this world to survive... wether its animals or humans...
