If you want to send a letter to someone like the president in the US, you only really have to address the letter: The President of the United States The post office will know what you mean. But I found out about 20 years ago places like DC have general delivery zip code. For DC that is 20090. So actually, if you want the letter to get there faster, you could send it to: The President of the United States Washington, DC 20090 Because otherwise it would be bouncing around the place for a while. First the state you mailed it from, then it would get put in a bin because the machine couldn't read it as addressed, then someone would have to figure what you meant, etc. BTW, the White House does have the zip code 20500. So that could be: The President of the United States Washington, DC 20500 BTW if you do send the president a letter remember. He's very busy and usually doesn't answer his own mail.
Better if you address it completely for the Post Office so there is no guessing. The Honorable [Full Name of the President] President of the United States The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, D.C. 20500
How about: Occupant or Other Resident The White House Washington, D..C. 20500 or 1400 Iceberg Blvd, Greenland or 123 Canal St, Panama or 20 Queen Elizabeth Ct, Ottawa, Canada 10001
I'm siding with Elizabeth May, making Washington, Oregon and California, Canadian Provinces. Along with Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. Like she said ... Free Healthcare for everyone! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ScO6SQ79vTk
