It's every woman and girl's problem regardless of age, race, or financial bracket.

Freedom and free will without responsibility and disciplined soon disappears and results in Trump or worse

It should be the woman's and her medical provider's decision. Not decided by some politician sitting in their chair miles away dictating what she should or shouldn't do with her body .

If abortion is legal, then a person who hits, stabs or shoots a pregnant woman and the fetus dies, should not be charged with murder. And for all those advocating that abortion should be legal for any reason because it's a woman's right, aren't you glad your mother didn't abort you.

So with that logic, you feel it is okay for a woman to be violently attacked and there should be no penalties for the attacker. Just because she is pregnant, that makes it okay?

You need not to read things into statements that are not there. Never said about the attacker not being charged for assault on the woman, just shouldn't be charged for anything that happens to the fetus. Understand what you are reading and not assume about anything else!

You've kind of missed the concept of the woman choosing for herself. No woman needs a male to tell her what to do!

Surely that would bring the species to an end?!

Castration for rape would be my idea of a lighter sentence.

I believe that a woman faced with an unwanted pregnancy, should be able to make decisions on the next step, whether that be an abortion or to continue the pregnancy to term. If anti abortion activists disagree, then the government should pay the woman for her medical support, providing her with a salary and benefits, and reinstate her in her job at the completion of her pregnancy. The father of the unwanted pregnancy should be hunted down, evaluated for paternity by DNA, and be forced to finance the woman's maternity leave, or go to jail, and pay back the expenses to the government upon release from jail for as long as it takes. The unwanted child should be put out for adoption by normal legal oversight.

I don’t trust the government to dictate that decision in some cases I may view abortion as morally wrong does not mean I want the government making the choice for people

It’s a horrible thing but it should be legal I think specially in cases of incest or rape .

otherwise maybe the rules should be little more strict .

I know a girl who had eight abortions by the time she was sixteen and she had a boyfriend she loved but simply didn’t want to use condom or go on pill.
She laughed and said it was such a simple procedure to have an abortion but does the unborn baby suffer or does it happen so quickly.
Think that girl is a conservative now married with children.

I had a abortion once when I was psychotic and the fathers friends said they wanted to kill me and my family that raised me said I have to have a abortion because I can’t even work etc
I perhaps wish i didn’t do as they told me to do and that I raised him with my bestie male friend who is a better man and so .

maybe he and I would have been a bad mix.
Maybe I should have had a baby with bestie male instead who was my boyfriend at one time too.
    He is so amazing .

Yes, it should. What a woman chooses to do with her body is her choice. People can have their moral arguments. However, nobody should ever claim ownership of another's body.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

All women across the entire globe should always have the complete freedom to decide what is best for her own person.

That is never debatable, so a non argument.

The argument of “prolifers” is that it is not her body to begin with, but two bodies, that the child is an independent entity even if still in the womb.

And honestly it is not a debate with a clear cut easy and undeniable argument for either side, that is actually logical, independent and not an emotional value statement.

My pro choice stance is therefore based on there being no clear argument (if there is not clear argument to ban something I believe it should by default not be), net on there being a strong pro life one, both are equally shitty.

Birth control should be widely available and cheap or free. Prevent the very beginning of a fetus being formed. But if one is formed, a bunch of old, white men should have control of the situation. Uh-huh. Yeah---that's the ticket.

yep, stating conservative opinions is sometimes greeted with the same stinkeye you get by going into a StarBucks and asking for a cup of black coffee. Two sugars and a recliner to watch from here as well.

Its a gray area. Both side have good points. Yet female gets raped or something serious will happen to the female. Something severely wrong with the baby. I agree..
