Anal sex and hemorrhoids

Hello, I identify as a straight male but as I've gotten older, the thought of anal sex with a man has become more interesting. Right now, my biggest concern is that I have hemorrhoids. I get occassional light bleeding with bowel movements (once every 2 weeks) and my anus has one or two bumps from the hemorrhoids themselves. I understand very well the risks associated with bodily fluid transmission but are hemorrhoids a "deal breaker" from an aesthetic standpoint for a potential partner?

I’m a bottom and I too have hemorrhoid issues. I don’t usually bleed but I’ve been struggling with them lately. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, just be sure to use LOTS of lube and please make sure that he wears a condom to help protect you. You might also want to consider Prep medication if you think that you’re going to have anal sex regularly…

 

I had anal sex weekly when I had hemorrhoids and had no issues during sex. If anything it seemed like they gave me more trouble when I skipped a week. And, he used to fuck me hard. When I moved and no longer saw my FB, they got severe enough to require surgery. It took a year before I could have anal sex. There's still a small one in there that'll bleed a little if penetration is too quick or not enough lube. But, it's a very small amount that stops right away. The trick is to lube well and careful entry. If it gets too rough, they may bleed a bit.

 

Mine get irritated if my husband gets a little rough. I’m a big fan of slow and gentle sex for this reason.
