Any Other Gays Here Like Showtunes?

Well, it's always been cliche. But I might as well ask. Are there any other gays here who like showtunes?

It's just that some them have such a powerful message. I recently talked about "On the Street Where You Live" from My Fair Lady. Or "Climb Every Mountain" from the Sound of Music. Now who anywhere doesn't like that one? Or even "Where Are You Christmas" from the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Anyway, my situation may be kind of unique IAE. My parents were Depression Era kids (okay, okay, I was born in 1968, now you know). But all we had around the house was showtunes. And polkas too FWIW.

So can anyone else in any way relate?

I love show tunes and musicals. I wish I had that talent, one of the things in life that brings a smile to my lips
