Condoms In Schools.

    Conservatives opposed making condoms available in high schools. When people pointed out that they didn't make premarital sex anymore likely they still opposed it. Because people need to know the consequences of their actions, they said.

    Not pregnancy. I think they meant STD's were a punishment for sex. That's what Anthony Comstock believed, when he made it illegal to give advice about medical treatment for STD's (even deadly ones).

    Young people don’t remember the rampant teen pregnancies of the early 60’s. Especially in states like Wisconsin where crotchety old Catholics frowned on every kind of birth control. What a pathetic legacy.
