anybody else get ridiculous bursts of energy at night? I get huge amounts of creative and physical energy as the night goes on.
yes one of my spirits is an owl... I like to wander dangerous parts of the world at night when I can hardly make out the terrain....
that explains me as well!! im tired all during the day. but as soon as 10 oclock hits, im wide awake. its a curse. good thing i dont have to be at work super early in the mornings.
i wouldn't call it a curse... kinda a bitch every so often, but so long as you don't have to wake up at a specific time the next day, it can be fun! but when you have to wake up, oh lordy. then i see the curse
i tend to often go to sleep at 1am cause l can't sleep. However l get up at 7.30 am for work and l really dislike getting up bigtime..
i am most awake at night. i spent the last 4 months going to bed at 5am and waking up at 12. but now i have to wake up at 6am and its killing me. im only just starting to feel awake now and i woke up 13.5hrs ago.
This is me exactly. I always considered myself to be a night owl. It seems like my day only starts at 10. Thats when my mind is the most attentive and alert. 12 30 is the earliest i have fallen asleep in ages. And that kinda sux seeing as how my classes start at 9. :-( Oh well though, i think its pretty common for young adults to be most awake at night, at least thats how all my friends are too.
anyway its easy to figure out why the people that put you to sleep all day with demands and expectations all day go the fuck to sleep at night so YOU can wake up finally heeheehee
i have 8am classes and it takes me an hour to get there i sleep through my lectures during the day and then im alert when im not doing anything
in high school i could never stay awake in college i could never pay attention LoL, anyway, I still was able to get a high B in a physics class 30% or so of people failed every time around not sure how this shit works anyway its like plug the dildo in the donkeys ass or what
I am most awake at night, but it's probably just mostly a schedule-oriented issue. I go to work at 5:30 pm. I go home at 2 am. After I get home, I stay up for a few hours; lately I stay up as late as 6, 7, 8 am! Then I sleep 8-10 hours, so that means I get up often at about 3 pm, shower, and get ready for work! On Friday I stayed up watching "Taken" on DVD until 7 am. I woke up at 8:30 to get ready and go skydiving. I got home from there around 10 pm Saturday, and slept until about 2 pm Sunday! That's 16 hours of sleep!! Holy shit! I just enjoy the night at least as much as I enjoy the day. I like the peace and tranquility of it, as opposed to the hustle-bustle business of the day. -Jeffrey
Definatley more functional in the evening, unless I've gotten up really early that day and spent a lot of energy doing stuff without napping. I'm more functional between 12 and 2am than I am at noon. It's sad. I've been getting so little sleep lately because I've been staying up late doin schoolwork, and then my insomnia kicks in, and i have class at 10am every day, gaaaah
I dont have to much energy at night.. I have to wake up at 5 am every morning so I am pretty tired at night.. But on the weekends, I am more of a night person...
i dunno if you'd call it energy, but i do stay up late most of the time and have to get up at 5:45am. last night i was up until 1:30am. somehow i made it threw my first class, but accounting is going to be tough. i also get most of my work done late at night, all my papers and what not. on the weekends, i say i'm going to work on them during the day, but that never happens. i end up procratinating big time and end up working into the next morning. meh, what can you do...
has anyone ever heard the theory that says its easiest to learn new stuff like 20 minutes to an hour before you go to sleep or after you wake up? maybe that has something to do with it. I'm a night person myself, but i get hyper as hell for a little bit right after i wake up.
yeah, i get energy at night. it's when i clean my house. don't see much reason in cleaning it when my daughter is still awake to mess it up.
yea, the night really is MY time... not dealing with those demands... although right now, I don't have all that many people making demands of me. It's kinda nice... for a change.
anyway what could be different besides present levels of brain neurotransmitters and ammount of accumulated unprocessed(dreamed) psychie junk? LoL I bet if you sat and meditated with your eyes closed on the ground for 5 minutes it would have the same effect as an entire nights sleep on your next 20 minutes of anyway anytime functionalZ
