With spring here (at least by the calendar) and weather warming up, has anyone had a barefoot meal in a restaurant this year?
Are you meaning like a formal restaurant or would like cafe/fast food type places count? In the latter than yes several times this year I have been into places and eaten barefoot
I have eaten at a Skyline Chili restaurant, a Culver’s fast food, and a Cracker Barrel. Didn’t have any issue at either.
I ate lunch at a Culvers a few days ago, the girl who brought the food to my table noticed and said “ i do the same thing when not working”. She was very pleasant
When I was younger, I use to barefoot McDonalds and Burger King a lot. Don't recall ever having a problem. I don't eat fast food much now that I'm older.
Any restaurant is good. I love it when my wife goes out to eat barefoot. We did McDonald's, ordering inside and eating outside. A great thing about the kiosks that many fast food places are now using is that by not speaking to a person you are much less likely to get questioned about being barefoot. For anyone concerned about being called out, the kiosk is a great way to order and get to eat bare. Along the same line, I was out shirtless last summer when we decided to get something to eat. My (barefoot) wife ordered at the kiosk then took the number outside where I was sitting. The waitress brought our food with no mention of our attire.
I went to a fast food places today and I went in barefoot and nobody said a word . Except the manager she said I wish I could work barefoot I smiled at her she smiled back and she went on working.
I’ve gone barefoot in two fast food restaurants, two donut shops, and one sit down restaurant with no problems. Generally, I never get any negative reactions when I go barefoot into a business.
