When my wife and I were just a few months into dating, I convinced her to try out going to a nude beach. She had never done that before but I had been going to nude resorts and beaches off and on for many years.

I think that is the key to it, is making the other person comfortable with being in that setting.

 

My wife was raised in a very religious environment and was very shy and reserved. When we were first dating, she would only wear a one piece bathing suit to Daytona for the day. Having been married twice, I have two perspectives to share.
First off, I've had the inclination to be in the great outdoors without clothing since I was probably a mid age teen. Patrick, likely most here have had similar experiences. Mine (ours) was created as a result of 'crowded beaches'. We were in SoCal visiting and on our return trip my wife asked that we spend some time on the beach.
