If you know the reasons why to any of them than please tell me.

    1. Why is it that a fat guy will want a girl to be fit or skinny but we should accept him for what he is?

    2. Why is it that men can date a woman 20 years younger but a woman can't date one 10 years younger without getting teased?

    3. Why is a guy's middle-age 45 and a woman's 30 when a woman statistically lives longer?

    4. Why is a man's haircut cheaper than a woman's even if the guy and girl have the same amount of hair?

    5. Why are there so many commercials that target women for weight loss and leave men alone?

    6. How come a man can go out at 2 o'clock in the morning and a woman is asking for it when she does it but men are more likely to commit crimes while women are more likely to be going home?

    7. How come when a woman fixes food she's a cook but when a man fixes food he's a chef?

    8. How come a woman's pregnant belly and exposed breast are frowned upon in public but a man's beer belly and breast are acceptable?

    9. Why is it that a woman pays the same price for food as a man in a restaurant but men get better service?

    10. Why do they make a man's bike with a bar across instead of slanted like they do a woman's?(I'm guessing this was a woman's idea to get even for the 9 things that men have their way lol.) ;)

Most girls like a guy to look good, too.

Often it seems women mature quicker than men. Not in everything of course... but definitely in some stuff.

    4. Why is a man's haircut cheaper than a woman's even if the guy and girl have the same amount of hair?

'cause women often want much more done with their hair. If I only want the split ends cut, I don't pay more (at least, I didn't ten years ago when I last went to get a haircut, I'm not one of those women who like to get her hair done :p)

    5. Why are there so many commercials that target women for weight loss and leave men alone?

'cause usually women are more self-conscious about their weight. Whether that's a good thing or not is another question, but it makes sense for the companies to target the audience who's most likely to purchase their product.

    9. Why is it that a woman pays the same price for food as a man in a restaurant but men get better service?

Never noticed that, but one thing I can think of is that often the waiting staff is female and may try to impress a goodlooking guy?

    10. Why do they make a man's bike with a bar across instead of slanted like they do a woman's?(I'm guessing this was a woman's idea to get even for the 9 things that men have their way lol.)

Women's bikes are like that 'cause of our skirts, it's a pain to ride one with a bar across while wearing a skirt. I'd guess they make the mens with the bar across because it may be stronger?
Hm... I wonder if Scottish bicycles all have the slanted bars, considering a kilt would be tricky too? :)

Otherwise known as the Double Standard. We could spend (and have spent) most of our time talking about it.

The only one which makes sense is the bicycles. They were designed in the Victorian Age, when womyn had REALLY big skirts and a bicycle with a bar was impossible to ride. Bikes were one of the few exercises that was considered appropriate for womyn back then. I don't LIKE the bar on a men's bike. I've stopped fast and hit them. OWWWWW!!

I was just teasing about question 10. (It was a parady of the other 9.) I think women mature faster than men in knowledge but they are even or less mature when it comes to health. (I mean here is the list: 18 year old guy sexual peak, 25 year old guy: going bald. 35 year old guy: starts to lose sexual potency. 40 year old guys start worrying about heart and other physical ailments. I don't really belive that women are mature faster than men ecept that they develope breast and have periods before guys have wet dreams and know when to put on a condom. I feel that after 18 the pendulem starts to swing in a different direction. (This is just my opinion for the sake of reasonable arguement.) ;)

There's been studies...some women never have an orgasm in their whole life...and lots of women don't have an orgasm all the time...we fake it a lot.

Hmm, first you have to tell me why so many women say they HAVE to wear makeup to look PROFESSIONAL at work...why is it that men don't have some impossible standard of beauty to live up to? Plus, that "pretty clothing" is UNCOMFORTABLE most of the time. I live in t shirts and baggy pants...I wish I could do that without getting teased for dressing like "a boy"

I understand that one...men are afraid of being seen as even slightly gay in this society...go get some gay and girl friends I guess lol

I guess because we get stuck with all the work most of the time...I'm lucky enough to have a good husband who helps, but according to most of the women I've ever talked to, men choose to not be as close to their children because they let the mommy do all the work. I'm not sayoing you're like that but you know, men decide how close they want to be to their children just like women do.

You know, both men and women have it bad if they don't fit in the box, I understand that. but it's real easy to say you'd rather be the other gender because you aren't ....the grass is always greener......Hell I'd rather be man so I could not have to ever worry about how I look, so I could actually get a construction job, so when I say I have a problem with monogamy I'm not called a whore but just "that's how guys are!"...ect.

    lol

Reminds me of a friend of my husbands. He is fat, hairy, and ungroomed but he still refuses to date the only girl interested in him because "she is ugly and not very smart" (did I mention she is going to college and he only has a GED...)

Do you also notice how mainstream media tends to be more forgiving to fat men than to fat women? There are plenty more fat male TV/Movie stars than women. Far more.

Oh you don't even want to get me started...the only "fat" women in hollywood are actually full figured women...not fat at all. I have yet to see a woman in the media who is as fat and slobby as a lot of the male actors(or whatever)

womens' acting careers usually don't last as long also, unless they can come up with some genious way of clinging onto their place in the business, usually by turning to comedy or something. comparatively there are very few serious older female actors. we're consdiered fairly useless after a certain age when we start to lose our looks, which is bullshit because we're not taken serious when we got 'em. (speaking in generalities) we can work out ASSES off to be educated, brilliant, driven. but it doesn't matter, cause we got nice tits.

Despite all the "hardships" womyn seemingly have to face, I would still rather be a female. I love being a womyn!!! Seriously girls...embrace your inner goddess and fuck society and all it's stupid double standards. Sometimes the grass is plenty green right where you are standing. :)

Because, on average, women do not tend to tip as well. Same reason teenagers pay the same price but professionally dressed adults get better service. Yeah, some women (myself included) -- often those who have worked as waitresses in the recent past -- tip well. However, I've seen too many cases where either the woman put a crappy tip on the credit card slip so the husband threw some cash in there as well or where the man left a good tip and the wife snatched up half of it after the husband started to walk off.

Old women are the absolute worst to wait on, on average. As much as I disagree ideologically with this type of stereotyping, after a while it's really hard not to cringe at the sight of 7 old women walking into your section (especially working at the Olive Garden -- every damn one of them will order soup & salad to eat and water with lemon to drink and will leave about $0.75 tip, 9 times out of 10).

Hm, on the crappy tipping/less service, that sounds like a downward spiral. 'Cause if a woman gets less attention, then sure she's going to leave a smaller tip... so the waitress will give women less attention, so the women will leave even smaller tips, etc, etc... I still think it started 'cause most waitresses are female, no doubt quite a few of the men are impressed with a good-looking waitress and gave a bigger tip and quite a few of the women may've been jealous and left a smaller one (or even picked some up as you say).... and then it'd go down from there 'cause the quality of service would even affect those who weren't either oggling the waitress (for the men) or jealous (for the women). I wonder if women also tip male waiters less? Somehow I doubt that... :)

Well speaking from both sides of the coin I can tell you that while it's true that some women don't tip well there are some servers that mistreat us once they find there is no man with us. I've asked for the non-smoking section and have been seated 2 rows away from the smoking section because I was alone. I had a person take 20 minutes with my order and the restaurant had just opened 20 minutes prior. I've even had people not come back to my table once I've ordered the food. (I mean I was at a restaurant where another server had to bring my food because my server went on break while my food was cooking and didn't say a word to me.) I know it's very hard for servers, whether they are ladies or guys to make a good living and I always try to tip at least 20%(When I have good money I can tip as much 60%.) but come on, be fair people. I'm alone but I still have feelings and my money is just as green as the next. I use the have an elderly lady tip 25 cents for breakfast and 35 cents for lunch which was 20% of her tab. (I can honestly tell you I didn't get rich off of her but I treated her the same as my big spenders because I knew that she was doing the best she could.)Even though she didn't spend a lot she was kind, considerate and she came a lot so I knew that she felt safe and happy and I didn't want to take that from her. There were a lot of people that didn't want to wait on her because of her tipping but I was just glad she came. ;)

Lol, well I always tip as much as I can... I was a waitress once and even if I hadn't been I would realize they make less than minimum wage without tips!...Good Lord I've put down more money after my dad put a crappy tip on the table(he's usually not bad, but he's not as sympathetic to the server being busy cause he doesn't know firsthand *sigh*)!..I freaking hate stereotypes!...I imagine the servers are more likely treating the richer looking customers better...and maybe they just assume that women don't make as much money (hell don't we get pissed about that?) If it's female servers well you can get a good tip if you flirt with dudes...But, if I get treated bad (besides if its just too busy for the server tto do a real good job ya know?)I'm not going to tip well so maybe it's a vicious cycle lol
