Whats the longest you have held your bladder for, mines 4 hours, had no choice as was on a train journey, didnt fancy using the on board rest room but each time I tried it was engaged, now after that I sometimes use my male masturbator when I have a full bladder, seems to get me mega aroused but can be painful after while waiting for my member to soften, then when I can finally pee, it takes forever - so 4 hours is my max!

About the same I guess. I tend to pee a lot overnight combination of age and diabetes medication. Not to mention my drinking problem. I am a full-blown Diet Pepsi-holic! If I wake up at night that's when I really need to pee urgently.

Do you mean how long you can last before having to go again, or how long to hold it when the need hits?

I have gone long, long periods of time actively holding it in. I'm lucky nothing came of it. I was oblivious to just how easy damage can occur. Not particularly proud of it, but I used to party really hard and while you're that high (with some things, anyway) it's seemingly not a problem. Definitely glad I didn't do damage from my antics.

Now hopefully the ol' biological machine stays nice and optimal for much longer than my lifestyle before would have ever allowed. *fingers crossed*

It all depends for me. I can last many hours if I have to but I try not to stress my aging bladder any more than I need to.

I love my morning coffee so I can end up peeing hourly until it gets through my system. For the rest of the day it depends on how much I have to drink.

I have type 1 diabetes for more than thirty years and it’s definitely taking its toll on my aging body. I’m 47) I can usually make it through the night without getting up to urinate but I will definitely urinate if I get up for any reason.

I find myself having to urinate outside during the cold months when I’m walking or waiting for a bus. The cold really bothers me and I have to either urinate in public or in my pants which I really don’t want to do…

I’m like this too, my bladder will wake me up out of desperation and then will take many minutes to try and wake up enough to drain my urine. My bladder will start emptying and then just stop and it will take a minute for my urine to start flowing again before it just stops again. I can urinate well during the day even though the frequency has definitely increased and I don’t seem to be able to maintain my stream as long as I used to…

Maybe, you should have a word eith your doctor. So he/she can give you some thoughts to as why this might be the case.

Then you have some ideas to go with eg old age (and know, I am not implying, that you are old) or possibly, start of a prostate, early warning that can be treated.

And that is a good thing. Especially if you just hold on for just a bit to stop the bladder from drinking.
