A warm hello to everyone!

I've been hoping to find and join a forum just like this one. I'm a kindhearted 57 year old girl that loves to discuss all kinds of interesting subjects. I have a wonderful boyfriend (we've been together for 26 years) so I'm only looking to enjoy some online friendships here on this site.

I just left another very well known site. It is now overflowing with automated chatbots. I can sense that there are hardly any real persons on that platform anymore.

I live in Canada. Hopefully more women will show up here. Some of the other popular posting sites are now losing their members at record speed. The chatbots have full reign of those spaces at this point. 2025 is fast becoming a 'non-human interactions' space online. It really is shocking!

 

This is the only site I go / come to, so I haven't been affected by bots much. I don't really understand what their purpose would be. Must be something to do with money. As usual!

I'm sure you're right. Money runs this whole planet. Everything revolves around it, unfortunately.

I won't be joining any large scale sites anymore. Smaller forums are definitely best at this point.

 

I’ve been on HF for a few years now… and I have come to know some great people here. Definitely a good variety of chats on basically every subject, and if you can’t find one… you can start one. I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself. Again, great to have you here.

Now that I think about it---yes I am affected by bots! Any and ALL sites whether they be sports , news or social have really stupid spelling errors and sometimes are so wrong that it's hard to decipher them when subtitles are used. I looked at one a short time ago and Matthew McCoon was shown for Matthew McConaughey!! Ridiculous.
