Ummm, if you own a small business, it's likely those are normal hours or even worse. Plus responsibility and stress. That's one reason why some deserve a bit more compensation. Managers too are usually on salary and expected to put in as many hours as needed.

And yes I put in hours like that building and managing websites for decades.

They are responsible for the imprisonment, torture, and execution of political prisoners, and the harvesting and sale of their internal organs.

They bear full responsibility for the imprisonment of Nobel Laureate Liu Xiaobo, and are at least partially responsible for conditions that led to his death.

While Covid may have arisen spontaneously, or via an accidental lab release, they suppressed information about human-to-human transmission and allowed international travel after they knew about it. Even if the protesters who were massacred at Tiananman Square in 1989 by the Chinese military were armed, it would've made little difference, except perhaps more dramatic video.

 

I'm not so sure armed resistance against the CCP would be a good idea. There are both moral problems with using violence to try to achieve political results, as well as practical ones.

The CCP has a huge security and police apparatus, they seem to be well prepared to crush any form of resistance. I think armed resistance might only help to give legitimacy to the CCP, as they would claim they have to be brutal authoritarians to maintain order in China. The most likely outcome, it seems to me, would be that they would arrest, torture and execute you.

If you're not prepared to wait for opportunities for non-violent resistance within China, you might want to try to get out of China if you can to a country where you would be able to freely engage in peaceful protest against the CCP. Those places are few however, and countries with significant Chinese populations also have a CCP controlled trans-national repression apparatus as well.

Im definitely no communist I wouldn't want to be control. If given a chance to change it think a lot of people would bounce at the chance to leave. Im not a money hungry person and I like to make my own decision.

 

Communism has never worked in the real world. Marx was an unemployed bum. No one took his teachings seriously when he was alive. You don't agree? That is your prerogative to have opinions that differ from mine. You know what you don't have in communist countries? The prerogative to possess opinions that differ from the state's.

Please name examples of wonderful, successful communist cities. Please limit your suggestions to cities founded after 1900 or that were greatly improved by the communist overlords. Oh, and if you're going to suggest Chinese cities...they wouldn't exist with out the trillions of dollars in trade that we have done with them since the mid '90s.
