Israel Attacks Iran Nuclear Facilities

Israel has attacked Iran tonight targeting their nuclear facilities, nuclear scientists, military leaders and missile bases. 200 planes hit 100 targets.

 

Yeah, and the West is being very careful to not support Israel. There is no condemnation as such but talk of both countries stepping back and reducing tension.
This is scary stuff by the way. Hundreds of drones on the way to Israel as we speak.

 

Yes, the US claims it's not involved, which is such bullshit you don't need to see a "poker face" to know it's a lie.

 

This is going to be one of those "check the news at every opportunity" days.

 

We all know that tension between these two countries has been building for months and not one single country has questioned the motives. I have seen responses from some western leaders this morning and all requesting diplomacy. Fucking idiots! They have enabled Israel and now it thinks it's invincible.

 

This is why the US redirected 20,000 missiles from Ukraine to Israel. Note they never said which country got those missiles. Some might've gone to defend US bases in Middle East.

 

It's a waiting game, man. Just have to see how it plays out.

The attack seems rather cowardly. Why attack scientists in their beds as they sleep with no warning and no declaration of war.

Israel continues violate international law while the USA shields it from facing consequences. The UN now is basically just as innefective as the league of nations was.

Diplomatic talks between the US and Iran were scheduled for Sunday. Why not let diplomacy play out? Where is the UN resolution condemning Iran for their breach of the NPT? The IAEA just found them in breach of the treaty yesterday, the UN has not yet concluded on action. Why didn't they have a chance to amend their mistake? Where is the due process?

 

How in the hell do democrats and liberals manage to recognize Trump as an evil fascist threat to democracy, then turn around and support evil fascist terrorist threats in the east. Vilifying Israel as a genocidal aggressor when they've been doing nothing but retaliating and defending themselves from real genocidal aggression. Israelis and Jews have never said they want to eradicate all of Islam yet many Islamic groups have clearly expressed their genocidal desires to eradicate all Jews.

You fools going on like Iran is some kind of peaceful country. They've been attacking Israel for decades. Well, the international criminal court has an arrest warrant out for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity. So why should we trust them now? It's not liberal bullshit it's just facts.

There is reporting here in the UK that trump is considering involving the US military in Iran. What the fuck happened to the de-escalation and diplomacy document that he signed at G7?
Is this why he left early? Has this always been his plan? We do know know that he was privy to the Israeli intent to attack.

 

I hope the US does not get involved militarily in this dispute.

The downing of Iranian civilian airliner Air Flight 655 by an American warship with a missile attack killing 290 Iranian civilians in 1988 shocked the world. Around 65 of the passengers were children.

The American government later stated it was an error in judgement, which is hard to believe considering the sophisticated tracking systems abroad the ship.

 

India has friendly relations with both Israel and Iran, so obviously the best case scenario we seek is a friendly relationship between them as well, with issues sorted out by diplomacy and negotations.

But for that to happen, the conflict must first stop before it creates larger fissures and mistrust between them.

Interestingly , India gave refuge to the Iranian Zoroastrians centuries back during the arab invasions and this has helped create a good relationship between India and Iran in modern times.

India is also considered the only country on earth which has never persecuted its jewish population, and this has also helped create the basis for a good relationship between Israel and India.

I am hoping that India can use its diplomatic resources to somehow end the conflict and patch up ties between them in the future.

There's no way the US can "win" a war with Iran. Yes it can kill it's leader, but it can't invade or occupy it. It would have to surrender voluntarily to avoid war or the people would need to overthrow their government.

With the endless layers of repression inherent in the Iranian social and religious order, as well as the IRGC to keep the people placid, it's hard to see another spontaneous revolution, even with all the outside support they would have.
